New Engine Patches uses twice as much CPU/GPU yet causes insane micro stutter and lag

Roll back the game before 24 july

the fix has to be before the new patch, who cares about "new" if all we think about is how many secons you can play before the game crashes/stutters/freezes ets.... what a shame - it used to be good.

This is not a tech forum. A lot of people here are very novice when it comes to computer hardware.

Linking to guides that cause temperature increase, electricity consumption at a double level, denying the fact that the cause of the problem is not the hardware, but the software is highly wrong.

By your behavior you are repeating procedures that reduce the lifespan of the people's equipment here. It should be punished.

This reddit post even states how to make it run full power ONLY when you're playing poe and 75c is not even that high. Keep in mind that game is literally in uplayable state for those who have this issue and this reddit post at least allowed me and some of my friends (who are still using old cpus) to make practice runs before league start.
Also GGG is radio silent as always and knowing their history with engine updates, we might be stuck with this solution for league or two.
