What do you think of the new 0.2 patch?
Still not addressing performance issues? Instead of % of players playing certain classes/ascendancies, why not show us % of players settings and the actual FPS they get, with even more monsters and even more visual effects, proper endgame is most likely going to be unplayable for more than 70% of your playerbase!!! Most of the new content seems to be old content from POE 1... I was also expecting to see some kind of a minimap for the atlas, as over time you just get lost in it with no sense of direction of where you've been to where you wanna go... Still missing Druid and other classes after 4 months... it's sad...
Apart from that, new tablets seem cool, new towers seem cool, better than I expected anyway! I'm happy to see fracturing orbs here, altough I'm afraid they'll be untouchable in the begining! And I'm hoping the new uniques and gems will be actually giving all ascendancies/classes a chance... to be at least tried out! PLEASE ADDRESS THE PERFORMANCE ISSUES!!! and add a minimap for the Atlas!!! |

" So 5 more updates, 5 new chars and 500 new support gems. "Do you guys not have holes for support gems?" (c) |

The struggle of logical application and redesign is held back by authority which should never be given to one person.
The "leak" might be false but the multiple problems - especially the dick move against Last Epoch, does bring some truth to the "leak". |

Underwhelming. Nothing really changed in comparison to the release date. Huntress is Monk 2.0, there will be even more gambling, endgame didnt really get changed much.
Ill check out patch notes when they come out and if there are no meaningfull buffs for occultist spells as well as Blood Mage buffs, then i wont probably even bother reinstalling it. |

This is the most impressive 0.2 I've seen from any game... that said it is still 0.2. Yes I will dabble... but to be honest I'm a pretty niche player; and the overall experience I'm looking for still hasn't arrived yet.

" What was false about it? Every single detail I've seen that can be verified in it has been verified by later releases--and at the time that info was impossible to know for anyone not in the know, hence why all the apologists said it was obviously "fake" only to later get blown out by it all being real. |

90% of the people in the thread who said "underwhelming" never mentioned added 100+ support and skill gems, way more meaningful 100+ uniques, atlas map changes especially streamlining towers to reduce stress, better waystone sustain, new poe1 mechanics with better outcome and they are very streamlined so not overwhelming at all. New 3 ascendacies for existing classes.
Yet they are like "no druid garbage update". Imagine taking these people serious. The game already has balancing issues, the game is new. They are focusing on balancing the game and end game content rather than working on variety of classes and weapons. Jonathan also confirmed that maximum of 1 year EA is reduced to 65% chance, so it's almost 50-50 that 1.0 launch won't be happening end of the year. He also confirmed that 1.0 may launch without all classes and weapons. So they may save some of them for later. | |
Sadly still nothing change on crafting mechanic.

" I wish they would. How much they talked about balancing issues in the endgame though? |

They pretty much said nothing about core game design like the ratio of player damage output vs enemy. This is what killed the entire end-game for me.
If it's still one shot them before they one shot you there's no point. I could work around trash designs like Ignite until they fix them but I quit pretty early because the entire game shifted into a terrible version of PoE1. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac
