What do you think of the new 0.2 patch?
One of the selling points for poe 2 was it wasn't supposed to have all league mechanics and headaches of Poe 1. It was supposed to be move simplified user experience. I guess that is gone.
The guy said he wanted to reduce busy work in maps but then added new ways to craft more chests. The way I see it is that you theorycrafters and guidemakers better get busy, because this is going to be beyond anything I want to invest time to figure out. And that generic map is annoying. I want to see Wraeclast. Lose the random generated AI trash. Last edited by SphinxyII#6427 on Mar 27, 2025, 5:17:58 PM

Pretty disappointing. No mention of buffs or nerfs or balancing at all. A weirdly stubborn compromise on portals.... it somehow feels hostile when they address feedback this way, how dare anyone question the vision, "6 portals to the white map peasants, if they keep complaining I'm taking away the currency exchange".
No mention of the economy problems. Trade will always suck, I think that's been accepted by many at this point. Some additions to crafting but still just mostly the same. Mace Melee still makes no sense in endgame, and i seriously doubt anyone will be using the parry skill for similar reasons. Unless there's significant balance changes they forgot to mention, I can only assume the meta is still the same screen clearing nonsense. Just makes all those warrior nerfs seem even more unnecessary. Maybe it's a hot take but I don't think they should be adding so many new skills, supports and uniques with balancing being completely in the gutter. I still have absolutely no idea how the game is supposed to play like. Right now you play simple overpowered spam builds until your bored, or you struggle with a more methodical build until you give up, at least that's how it feels to me, and now I'm convinced that's how the game will stay. |

Well.. if there will be no es/armor/ev/life rebalance its a bust then. It will be embarrassing if this shockingly bad balance will still be not addressed.
Then I was expecting existing ascendancy balance change. There might still come balance patch notes, but im not too positive somehow. Then there are swords existence question. If all above 3 fumbles its really bad then, really. I will still have some fun with new lich maybe, but other than that.. eh.. |

" Why the fuck would you balance the game around missing half or more of the stuff while missing over half the shit they are going to add. What they need to do is just dump all of the shit in, and focus on buffing underpowered stuff and do SMALL nerfs fast so people aren't crying about their build being destroyed overnight. The biggest problem is companies waste no time taking a giant nerf sledgehammer to builds while having to be dragged kicking and screaming to buff useless stuff. Add new content to standard??? Shoot yourself in the knee, why play on a new "league" if you can continue on standard. This will kill online sooner than we would like.

VERY angry. Druid is not there. The whole stream was SPAMMING druid question and all ignored. Not a Q&A, just propaganda video. Not only they don't provide people what they asked for they don't even mention it and ignore people. Typical corporation move. Grinding Blizzard Games.
I am not playing this. This update is an insult. |

What is there looks neat, but I do not understand how when everything else was "80%" finished this was all we got.

I wonder when the next new patch is? If it takes another 4 months for an update like this and a new class, we won't get out of EA until 2027.

" Because they probably can't develop all that junk fast enough to do it that way. even balancing a full release game, with any kind complexity usually takes awhile. That way of doing it would be more like a long beta test, which would probably work better than this, but I guess they wanted to cash in on the hype. Really they should have held back alot more, especially with the endgame. find out what players liked about the campaign, and then they'd have a healthy idea of how to develop the endgame, but that ship has sailed. |
