What do you think of the new 0.2 patch?

Add new content to standard??? Shoot yourself in the knee, why play on a new "league" if you can continue on standard. This will kill online sooner than we would like.

Because of how many divs and stuff are in the standard eco. Starting fresh wipes all existing wealth. It would not matter if there were no changes to the game i would still play a fresh economy.

I think 90% of people will play in fresh economy so trading will be dead in the old league.
Lame. Underwhelming. Disappointment.

They eliminated XP loss on Pinnacle bosses only, yet monster lvl is still capped at low 80s. So I still lose hours of grinding on cheap deaths. Lame. Armored and evasion still garbage while es is op. Lame.

They are completely clueless. I was going to re-install on the update if they fixed some core issues. Now I'm just done with this game for good and telling my friends and family who haven't purchased it to not bother.

GGG dropped the ball, stepped on it, flattened it, then tripped on it and broke a leg.

They still haven't addressed the biggest issue in the game, which is that the loot sucks and 90% of what drops isn't even the right base for your character... and when the right base drops it rolls all manner of bad.

You are forced to engage in "the economy" if you want to progress at anything beyond a snail's pace.

Where is SSF with better drop rates/quality? Until they add that, I have no interest playing this game.

Happy with the tower changes (i hated how there was so many of them close to each other) but thats mostly it tbh, i feel like there are a lot of things that needs to be changed for me to actually get back to the game

I want to see:

Rework of trials (especially the sekhemas)
The other Acts
The combat at endgame (clearing maps feels more like poe 1.5 than poe 2 campaign)
Better performance/optimization
Remove rarity as an affix for items
Rework movement speed (it's awful in coop)
Auction house in the game

What are you even complaining about? They are buffing "league-like" content with that change on towers, in addition to other mechanics like rogue exiles and the torment-like thing. Those will increase drops rate.

Also, they are improving crafting with affix locking and item combinations. It will make getting endgame gear a lot easier on SSF. I'm looking forward to that.
first off who cares about the story. . .this genre is not about story.

I don't care about Piety 2 and Malachai 2 she keeps locked in the cage. . .

. . .everyone here for "the story" is going to play for 40 hours on launch, leave and never come back.

we could not get another act till release and I would be perfectly fine with it

everything this games "needs" right now we are getting in this patch.

though I do wish we would of gotten 2 classes. . .
negativism is too much over here. stay blessed
I would have liked them to announce weekly experimental patches for the league with the economy reset.
Also I'm disappointed how Jonathan missed the point of the complaints about crafting. Everyone is complaining about non-existent agency in general which has nothing to do with having runes instead of a crafting bench. The changes look like they will improve things a bit though.

Overall I'm happy with the changes (depending on the patch notes), they seem like a good overhaul.
