Change % damage from traps to flat damage in lab already.

So basically, ES recharge does help a lot with traps, it's a bit less brainless than using potions, but it does work, on some traps you can sit indefinitely. It's a slightly different playstile. If you are Occultist, from 4 ascendancy points you can jut ignore them for 4 seconds after the recharge starts. And you can take ZO to have some regen. No, easy access for regen does not make the lab easy, it is just a small bonus, people sucking at and hating the lab on this forum might tell you that it becomes trivial once you get some life regen, but it's just wrong. Maybe they are trying to cheese it by taking all unique that gives %life regen and nodes ( 10% ? don't make me laugh seriously, who has 10% life regen except for RF builds ? .... ), because they're biased opinion on the lab makes them think that it's required, but it's absolutely not. The few regen nodes that life based builds usually have ( like what, 3% ? ) basically don't change a thing, it helps a little bit, but that's it. The pots give a significant advantage, but that's why we have a 60% trap damage modifier on ES now, to compensate for it. About the alt+f4 policy, well that's not just a lab issue ( actually lab makes it rougher since you have to start over, this is prtly why I think that Izaro could use some tuning ) SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. " I get it, but it's not like you can avoid them 100%, honestly. It's also not a car crash but a game with crazy complex canvas to build your character upon, and traps just don't care. It goes all out with the trash when you have anything that just can hit you plain by %. That's my main issue. We should close this thread though, I feel like everyone voiced all the good points already - let's move on to the guy that made that "200 something lab complaints" megathread, if anyone has got anything else to say. |

Traps dont belong. Remove all traps and add more enemies. Make the labyrinth a bigger maze with more enemies and special random encounters from a set of hundreds encounters. For example one encounter could find an entrance to a corrupted map with 5 bosses. Tons of extra loot and whatnots but if u die in this area u lose 5x xp.

No chance that devs will part with content that they worked so hard upon though, and you'd hear complete outrage of people that do enjoy the traps. Seriously, people would go batshit and it would be totally fault of crybabies like you and me, even though the cries are justified AF. /it's not the time for calls like this, it's the idea phase and they are way past that. " Vast majority of traps can be completely avoided by paying attention, the few that can't you spend maybe a tenth of a second in a sawblade with the right timing on leap strike/whirling blades/flame dash, or avoid it anyway with lightning warp/blink arrow. Pay attention and use a mobility skill and you can handle traps at least in the first 3 labs. Endgame sentry traps do make it a bit more of a gear check sometimes though when the only place safe from regular traps has a bleed sentry sitting in it... |

Build for tank... but to be punish more than glass cannon by traps. Such balance lol....
and their counter argument, traps is avoidable. lol you know what? lets change those ground effects like burning ground/chaos ground into % base. Make bearer % base too. |
