Yes, it's too hardcore even for hardcore. Sc finds too hardcore the aspect of not respawning in a checkpoint if you die and hardcore find too "hardcore" the fact that traps deal %dmg. It's a different aspect they find too hardcore. What's so funny about it?

What? You still aren't allowed to die in the lab so why wouldn't they see that aspect as hard? If anything they should see it as harder than hardcore player sees it because they are "used to low defense and dying all the time".

For someone that claims not to like flame wars I find it odd that you responded to my non-inflammatory comment with an inflammatory one. @Mark What i tried to say is that sc players don't see the %dmg of the traps as hard because they are used to playing on the edge of dying all the time. Forcing that on players that, by rule, lose their character when they die is expected to thin the population of players that play by that rule.

Evasion should grant damage mitigation from traps. Currently it does nothing.

It helps against darts, more than armour I believe ( not tested a lot tho, just noticed ).
Armour on the other hand only work a little on darts, and on floor spikes.

It does make sense, I mean if you are stepping on a floor of spikes like this, how could you possibly evade it ?

Heh, almost completely accurate.

That's going pretty far there I would not agree, but I would guess that the use of doubles quotes on "HC" means that he does not consider HC lab QQer hardcore enough to him.

You could take that as a rude statement if you play HC yeah.

I do not think they will fundamentally change the lab. too much work. It will be much easier for them just to remove the ascendancy point's from it, if they choose to give in to the crusade.
