This part of the conversation goes nowhere, what you just answered basically is irrelevant to the point that I was making.
I am talking in term of efficiency, maybe you are not, but I am. And for people looking for efficiency, sure, not taking ascendancy classes is kinda stupid. And in PoE Power and Efficiency are basically the same, if you have a freaking powerful build, it's an efficient build, let's not split hairs lol. For others, can't say, but calling them stupid is just rude, and completely free. PoE is but a game, anyone can look for whatever pleases him/her in it. But I admit that this is going off topic, so maybe let's forget about it. For min-maxing, not taking ascendancy would be kinda dumb, that we both agree on ^^. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

The team is aware of the fact that it can be if you dont like the labyrinth having to do it three times is a bit of a chore, and if this was entirely side content with just the enchantments then it could just be a thing that if you dont want to do it you dont do it just like atziri or you know those kind of things entirely optional, BUT we have put ascendancy classes in there.... he then goes talking how a 3rd party site (reddit) is helping people to ascend...

So what happens if you win this debate about 'optional' and everybody agrees ascendancy is mandatory and not optional? Then what, back to 'but frogger!' and the like? Winning one point doesn't mean you also win the half dozen more relevant points automatically.
