Thorien_Kell, thank you for taking the initiative to gather these results and present them to the world.

I don't think you ever made any claims that this is a 100% representative/unbiased sample, so it's sad to see all the negativity being piled on to your method. It's so easy for others to sit back & criticize, and much harder to present something novel to the world.

If more people invested this sort of effort to present information/suggestions to the community (for example, a poll on why we should *not* have a SFL), then I think GGG would be thrilled and we would all be better off for it.

So - results aside and regardless of whether anything comes out of this - congrats & thanks. Cheers.

Wouldn't the best way to do it would be a temporary 4 month league? Instead of "omg implement immediately", a 4 month league would give them the data GGG needs I suppose. Imo, idc either way :P

What I meant is you need an unbiased/representative data sample of the statistical population (which is all players of the game). This certainly wasn't given in the poll thread, since mostly people interested in a SFL entered the thread and voted for it. As said before, my assumption is that the vast majority of players simply don't care about SFL or don't even know what it is. If you don't know or care you won't enter the thread and vote.

Yes, YOU MUST BE RIGHT there is obviously no interest in SFL - one of most hot theme on whole forums for months!

My poll post was on first page FOR 5 DAYS AND STILL IT IS. No bumps necessary.

Poll results have SEVEN pages from last night I've posted it.

129 People participated. I know poll is not perfect but guess what - it's still quite indicative.

You've had your chance to speak, as we all did. SFL is something that people wish too see in this game, plain and simple. Just Deal with it already.

This is how all polls on game forums work. lol

What it shows easily however is the scale of interest in comparison to the active player base. (which in turn can be exploited by free and easily obtainable forum accounts that aren't IP locked one per account)

The for got their vote,the against got their vote,the I do not care crowd got to ignore it and the folks waiting on paid leagues got to abstain.

that's how it works.

Let's not turn polls into Australian politics,where you can be fined or jailed for not voting. lol

or a 1 month race with SFL. So GGG can check if people really want this or if its just a handful of people.

Characters and stash will need to be deleted on season end.Otherwise the trade crowd comes in for their free increased orb drops to be released into parent league on season end.
