Tell me how many people participate in general chat(since I assume you posted it here). I suspect forum is mostly used for trading.
There is your problem, apparently only 9 people don't care. What about those who didn't even take the time to care about viewing the thread? What of those who just lurked but didn't reply to your thread?
There's 50,000 active forum users. I'd say 49,881 don't care.Not 9.

For the sake of the argument. 440 posts on that thread. I've seen atleast 5 from you. Considering, many took your example and proceeded to make yoloswag replies. I'd say only 128 voted. That's pretty much according to the official poster. I didn't even take into account human error when the votes were counted.I'd hate to be the guy that has to look through that mess.

Not to mention, the op could be biased and perhaps he inflated the votes(just a lil :)). Afterwards proceeded to make fancy graph, maybe confusing these forums with the Maple Story ones.
