Your sample is too small.
Also, it is conditioned by the way the poll was made. People participate in the poll by going into a thread specifically titled "Self Found League Poll", and voting in it. That already biases the results, the only way to get unbiased results is to randomly choose your sample. Why? Here's why: Group A: Strongly Agree The people that strongly agree will be more compelled to open the thread, read it, and vote A. Since they want this mechanic in, they will jump to this opportunity. Thus, lots of A votes Group B: Agree People that agree might see the thread title, open it up and vote. However, they could as well just not bother. They are in favour, but maybe not so much as to go through the hassle of reading the thread and participating in this. Still, they could have some votes. Group C: Don't Care If they don't care, they won't even open the thread. You will get VERY little amount of there votes. THe people that DO vote they don't care would actually care in a way, since they bothered to do this whole process (even if it's not that hard or doesn't take much time). Group D: Against People that are against it and very vocal, will indeed come here, and vote D. This would be most likely because they see the thread title, think "damn not this thing again! I'll go in there and try to put some sense into these people", read the thread and vote against. However, there can be other people that are against SFL, that instead go "damn not this thing again! I won't even bother with these people" and not even open the thread. You'd be missing on those votes. So what would we have? People that strongly agree (A) would always vote: Lots of votes People that are in favor (B) would maybe vote: Some votes People that don't care (C) won't vote: Almost no votes People that are against (D) might vote: Some votes That's exactly what happened here, and even if the ACTUAL distribution of groups A,B,C and D in the WHOLE community changes (maybe even drastically), the fact is that if you conduct a similar poll in a similar fashion you will get similar results, because of the above facts. Thus, I don't think this poll can give an accurate representation of what the community thinks, or in what groups they are divided in. Like I said, you need a more random process for picking people to vote, and a bigger, WAY bigger sample. An option for this is for GGG to introduce it. They can code this forum and the game to have a small poll popup for a certain sample, or maybe even better EVERYBODY, so they can vote what of those options (A,B,C or D) they prefer. |

It got you to level 71, and there's still plenty of room to grow. Isn't that what you want in a game? Or would you rather have everything you'd ever want on your first end game character?

He already outleveled his progression to the point of abysmal orb drop rates in the hope of an upgrade.Continuing to pound on trivial content is pointless.Build is dead in the water. He got no maps from 66ers and even if he did has no orbs and not good enough gear to do them. Ironically,I was pissed and used the last of his currency on that chest piece for shits and giggles and it coughed up a 5 link,too little to late. Has under 2500 hp and beyond sub par damage. On the Brightside he has capped resists(except chaos which is full negative),75% block and a charming personality. =P And I'm only posting this hoping that your luck rubs off a lil on myself. =p I can make a new character from scratch and he too will be in a very similar position. Once upon a time I had a full roster all feeding each other and often rerolled for lowbie currency infusion to boot.It gets old after the first year and a bit. I already said that I have everything I want, do you even understand how dumb it is to say that I want a league where I cannot trade BECAUSE I want items that I already possess? Edit: I have always said exactly what I think on these forums, if I thought the game should be straight up easier then I would say it but I don't. I have argued loudly against people wanting an easier game ever since I got here, against free respecs, against no death penalties and the like. Its super insulting to me not only to have another player of accusing me of wanting an easier game but that I would lie about what I want from the game. As I have said many times I am interested in a SFL because I enjoy finding cool stuff versus trading for it. I already have every friggin thing I want in this game so I have no motive of getting stuff that I don't already have. Its strictly to enjoy the game in a way that I can't enjoy it now. I am not going to grind for hundreds/thousands of hours for little reward other than to say "hurrr durr I'm so hardcore look at me with my mediocre rares playing in low level maps, wow I'm so great" That doesn't appeal to me at all.
