Zombie´s suck since latest Patch - 135% resists... Endgame Summoner screwed. Help us Pls

I think you have no clue what me and some here are talking about. its best if your are quiet because you never did any Level 66-71 map as pure summoner.

QFT. Also less minion defenses is a nerf to MI not a buff. If minion health is brought with a single hit from anywhere above 35% to 0% the minion dies without triggering MI.

I would really like to know if minions receive the same resistance penalty in cruel/merciless as the player does. If they do not (which is my assumption) than Necromantic Aegis with purity could nearly cap elemental resistances of minions again. A developer clarifying this would be awesome.


the OP is not overreacting, The op plays a L82 summoner since weeks and does the same map farms since weeks.

the OP knows exactly what hes talking about and that this sudden resist change is a huge change to pure summoners without own attack skills.


The OP wants a Skill reset so he can respec to a Sporker build and forget the broken summoner minions.

The problem* is not that they have no resistances.

The problem* is that capped resistances are required and zombies no longer have capped resistances.

If you walked round with 40% or 50% resistance you'd probably get one shotted. Zombies are slow and melee fighters which means they require capped resistance even more.

I run a pure summoner in 66-71 maps who isn't even full power because he stacks magic find. Even with your complaint about zombies I still think summoners are fine.

Can't blame him from wanting a full respec. Zombies die a lot faster now and depending on what kind of build it could be a blessing or a cruse.

I played a summoner back in Feb, no super zombie res back then.

This thread is 100% L2P, with OP failing at even the easiest of PoE builds.

Seriously, it doesn't get much easier than a summoner.
I dont know man, I havent had a problem with zombies dieing.... running purity and ele resist/life zombies though.
Actually, I find my summoner getting more powerful as I work through the mid 80's. Even with this "nerf", which is just changing values back to what they were.
A bug fix is not a nerf.
