Zombie´s suck since latest Patch - 135% resists... Endgame Summoner screwed. Help us Pls

no we are not thinking of this like you want us to.

we want you to fix all Minion resists to a level where they are not dropping like flies in merciless. nevermind how they were before. If they were like this before then the minions needed a fix. Maybe not 75% but 25% to 45% resists would havent been about right.


you come to us here like the holy Messias telling us something and we just accept this crap ?

dude we are your customers. we pay for your job. your job is to make this game fun for us all. some payed 10$ others 50$ and some even 100-1000$ or even more. Theres no PvP happeing here anyway so why not giving us better minions ???? who would care ??? No one would get hurt if you raise Minion resists a bit or ?


instead of doing something to bring minions back to a certain level in merciless, you come and tell us something that no one wants to hear ???

Did you even try the Minions on a L80+ Summoner on a Elemental Map yet or are you just passing by out of boredom ? because that doesnt help us.

Zombies are now "correct", perhaps they need some adjusting... but basically they are the way they are supposed to be (for now). Not "crap or whatever etc... Just "true".
I dont know what people are complaining about. My minions are totally fine. Maybe if yall took the IIQ/IIR gems off your minions and put the life gem and/or minion resist gem back in you would see how OP all our minions are.

Ran with a guy the other night in a pick up map... he was dumbfounded that my skeletons killed stuff and my minions did not insta pop. He asked me how I did.. I said for one that I didnt use the brotem combo.. I summon all my own skeletons, and two that I had no IIQ/IIR gems equipped. Everything has its life and damage gem. My Spectres also get Life Leech and GMP. My skeletons get faster attack. Its that simple. I have enough mana regen that I can perma spam skeleton summon on my own even though I have over 1k mana reserved and I only have about 200 mana to spare. There are only 2 map affixes that I have a problem with and dont run. Blood Magic and reduced or null mana regen.

I do not have midnight bargain or shavronnes or anything super special and the only piece of summoner gear that I use is the boots. The only piece of gear that I use that I didnt FIND myself (not buy or trade) was the gloves which were a gift from a friend for a set of really nice Chaos resist gloves that I found him and I only use them because they have 29 Dex and some mana. I plan on rolling a new set of my own soon.

Zombies are fine.

Zombies are fine at Level 80.

Zombies are fine at Elemental Maps.

Zombies are fine with any content you can pretty much throw at them.

What's not fine? Your build.


Summoners are, and will most likely continue to be one of the most ridiculously faceroll builds that are out there. Your first 40 or so points in the skilltree are dropped into minion upgrades, after that - you can spec your character however you want. Your gear has little to no effect on minions and therefore you can spec it for MF, or more damage, or becoming a god damn tank. Gemming is pretty straight forward. If you're getting hit by anything as a summoner you're doing it wrong - you can clear the most end-game content solo with one. It's pretty freaking cheese.

link your build items and GEM setup. brings nothing to appear here, telling us what we already know...


p.s i took all possible minion passive support Nodes, sadly theres nothing where i can raise the resists of these lame PoE minions.... only DMG , HP and + minion . + resist was completely forgotten when they designed the summoner nodes...

he cant kill piety in the temple map... he never could and he never will kill piety as summoner in the temple map.

he probaly had no idea that this map exists.....

so a boss with massive AOE kills a build that is vulnerable to AOE (not to mention feared by most other builds aswell), i just dont see the problem? or is the real "problem" that you guys just dont want summoners to have any weakness at all?
