Remove MF completely from game

Yes it is. Nerf the MF builds (oh RLY ?), nerf the difficulty to find gear/currency (since you will ask for better drops).

"Balance" is the word used by the locusts when they want to nerf something. And no, I won't spend my time with someone who posts "this is too difficult, buff me" before asking what he could do. It reminds me something about offline games (mostly RPG) :
-20 years ago, we had to find the solutions : how to beat that boss, how to find that item, etc.
-Now, you buy/download the guide before starting the game, you find videos about how to do something and whine when something isn't faceroll.

I give up, the locusts are invading. let's hope GGG will not do what so many games did : nerf everything to get as many locusts as possible, then die.


Your MF build will still kill just as quickly as before, the only difference is that you aren't going to get a ridiculous amount of loot for playing the easiest faceroll builds. And for some reason you are telling other people that they are bad at the game?

Solution I can read here : remove MF from the game. I probably missed one, two or even 3 lines in that logic.

About daggers, I don't know, I never did any melee build (that's why I don't comment if they are viable or not), but I'd probably use
somewhere.

Now, time to ignore the locusts, but you will probably never cross my road in HC or Onslaught. And people telling me that a MF build will kill as fast as a build with DPs rings/Amulets are just trolls/low levels.

For what it's worth, I agree that MF should go away. I think the customization through passives/equipment should be about defense/offense and style of play.
Also, I hate feeling the need to equip MF gems instead of another useful support skill.
As a mostly casual player, multiboxing, using MF chars in groups, etc., seems like borderline cheating to me, not something a regular player would even think of, it's just not something natural to the gameplay but a way of gaining an advantage through exploiting the engine.

Just my two cents.

Don't have time to read through the entire thread, but agree completely. MF/Rarity/Quantity is a bad mechanic, numerous game developers have written articles and discussed why it's bad.

It does add a bit of gear diversity, and really "GG" items that have all the stats you need as well as rare/quant, but in a game around gear, having to revolve everything around one stat is bad.

I would love to see an overall increase in loot drops instead so we can focus on kill speed. Maybe keep a few MF items but make them with proper drawbacks and so one type of player cannot equip every single one on the same char. And boost gains from hard mods on maps should make endgame more appealing aswell.

Nah you know what... Iamstryker is right. Everybody in game should just be given all the uniques.

When you make a new account, every unique is in the stash.

That way nobody in the game misses out on having a unique.

Never mind the actual game. This guy wants it so bad he can taste it, and apparently is going to hold his breath until he gets it. His face is already purple. We need to remove all MF and put every single unique in everybody's stash so nobody feels dirt poor or "forced" to hunt for items.

I think PoE owes everyone that wants something in game an apology and they just need to have the item.
