Remove MF completely from game

I love to use a MF char. I don't want to be forced into just building a char that focuses on DPS/Tank and have to run endless maps. For me that just isn't fun once you hit god mode and can destroy any map any mods. I like loot and I will always make a mf char when mf is available. To me, MF chars are what keeps me playing trying to find those really rare items. I don't run maps. That's my sacrifice for running a MF char and im completely fine with that. Maps offer mf bonus for the dps/tank chars so im not really why this thread even exists. It's pointless like saying that Ranged or Melee chars should be removed.

Same for me, I love mf characters and grinding items with my mf. Thats why I play, everyone has his own interests to play this game. MF is just another way to play, removing it completly would also remove an altnerative to play only maps. Would be boring when the only you can do would be running maps. The problem is more the system of mf in the game and not mf itself, it needs some changes yes, but not to be removed completly.
I used to like MF before, i have a MF myself runing 522 109, but for real, MF is really not good for the game, it forces you to run MF if u want to get resources, i feel really uneficient in terms of farming using a non MF character, so i am forced to go back to my MFer everytime i need to get some stuff. We should be able to run the builds we want to play, not beeing forced to run something for eficiency. Drop rates should b balanced in a way that everyone havs something like 500 iir 100 iiq, and MF sghould b removed from the game
Other than a wee bit of necro... Yeah, remove IIR and IIQ from even uniques. ARPGs are all about finding gear and getting stronger. Why should I wear weak MF gear in the hopes of finding better gear? Because, honestly, you can't tell me that someone who farms with MF gear is going to find a rare and say "Hey, I'll use this!" Instead, they're gonna keep farming, ignore the good stuff they find, and then complain until they find a Shav's or Kaom's. It just makes more sense to reward a player for being stronger rather than playing a build that isn't dependent on gear and stacks MF (AKA has 2k life and hides behind totems or minions).

As for compensation in drops, yeah, you'd probably need to rebalance the drop rates. I doubt you'd need to make it 500/100 like the guy above me says, but enough to even things out again.
Signed. I don't like gimping myself for more loot; I want to build an optimized character. It would be easier to justify if you had no reason to artificially weaken your character.

Plus, playing a non-MF power siphon build in ambush, I cannot really play with groups without destroying the efforts of the MF culler. If we had more hard rewarding content instead of MF in the game, we wouldn't need to build entire characters for MF; instead we could run challenging (and rewarding) content with the best characters we can build.
