No, it's almost three times as much as the average point of closed beta. l2read graphs.

There's your problem and GGG can't fix it, you have to do it yourself. Buy RAM.

The amounts are pretty comparable. And it's still dropping. Hasn't even stabilized yet....

If at any point there are as many people playing as in closed beta, that's a huge problem.

I'm actually not even aware of any MMORPG/ARPG that have recovered from such a thing. Tends to be a death sentence.

wont work much with a 32bit system.

Yes, there was a very huge drop in users.

But what I saw mainly is, that a lot of people left because of technical problems.

I run a win32 system with 2 gb RAM and up to now I cannot solve certain areas without help. Best example: Piety! As soon as she dies my system crashes, as well in solo, as well in Group. So I must be very tricky to get my keys from her. But thank god, up to now I always found help from people, even if sometimes it took very long.

Furthermore I run normally with about 10fps and it is impossible to take part in races or do a normal group-game. Other games are going pretty well on my dualcore-system. Thats why I think at least half of the players who left, did it because of the technical impossibility of playing the game in full aspects.

GGG YOU SHOULD REALLY WORK ABOUT THE TECHNICS!!!!

Wait... When your system is obviously not made for gaming (although maybe it was once upon a time), how can you blame technical problems? 2 GB Ram? Dual-core? I'm not here to slam your system, I happen to still be running a dual-core as well. But come on man, it's time to upgrade. The only reason my old dual-core keeps up anymore is because it's overclocked to hell and back, decent ram, and a decent video card.

But when you say you're running a win32 system with 2 GB ram, and on a good day you get 10 FPS, I don't think the problem lies with GGG. Just saying.

Sadly the drop in the games popularity has nothing to do with someones crappy PC specs.

From my current dried up friends list. Id say these are the top factors.

-No FFA pvp...

-Catering to loot whiners and forcing loot timers on people.

-Bad crafting results

-Lack of map drops.

-Melee being underpowered.

-AOE skills/Totem skills being overpowered

-On screen skill spam cluttering screen to the point of being unplayable.

-Job Board being used as a Trade Spam Method.

-Multiboxxing is alloweed

-Lack of class specific perks or skills.

-Lack of a complete game

-Dysenc

All these things can easily be improved. And i know alot of friends will come back when the new acts are added.

But the game has to stop being a AOE/TOTEM spam fest. Thats for sure.

honestly, i wouldn't mind if this game died. ggg made a valiant effort to create something special, but i honestly just don't think they succeeded. this is an amazing game "ON PAPER", and it has its moments, but to be honest, i just don't think its all that fun to play. i would rather have a game half as complex, and twice as much fun. i would be pretty shocked if this game ever reached a consistently high volume of players.

Hi

Dsync is top priority.
Everytime I have spread the words to friends and they try POE out they get dsynced and die. This is the only game my friends and I have played with this type of dsync.

Add all the items, skills you want GGG but your game isn't gonna get anywhere if people can't play it for long periods of time without constant dsync of the enviroment with the character( invisible damage, teleporting, moonwalking monsters) How many years has this been going on? Serious letdown, I can't even build certain characters because of the dsync.

I know your all hard at work at GGG trying to fix this and maybe it isn't even gonna change the popularity because the damage has been done but I know that once my character can go a few hours without dying from invisible monsters which upon death teleports into a mob of monsters as if they were there all along then I am sure more people will be interested in a STABLE game.
