That would be funny. Then everyone would fight each other moments before the boss dies. It would truly be survival of the fittest.

Free For All looting system is so outdated , it makes no
sense at all - fastest clicker = win ?

Implementing this ridiculous quantity buff promotes having
" leechers " aka not playing the game just standing still doing whatever while other people benefit for no reason whatsoever from 90 % of the party afk ?!
Don't you .. kinda ... want people to play the game & not AFK ?

Ok let's say that you don't want people to group randomly with people they don't know , cool . In such case buff the quality / quantity while soloing becuz with this loot system atm you clearly promote SOLO play and not GROUP play then why should i get PUNISHED for SOLOING which is my only viable choise as a sane person that don't want to get ninjaed by some random player in the game ?! I'm not even going to start on the chances to roll a decent item with the orbs which I won't get prolly if I'm in a group cuz someone else will CLICK faster and exit to login screen .

Even in the CLOSED BETA , noone wants to group up for
chaos run if he doesn't know you personally or if you're not just a "leecher" . And this is in the CB lol imagine when the game is released .

You can aswell remove the party option as a whole , how about that ?


Do that Q & A Loot system thing once again in the near the OB when more people play the game - annouce it on the live servers so people can come here to vote .

I for one will solo for a while and then the game will get boring and I've played D , D 2 for years - no further explainations .

I advise you not to follow outdated models , systems etc for your own good . You want to make a differance - people like to group up and play with other people but FFA ruins it for lots of us .

If the people don't want that system so bad , make it optional but don't force us with this FFA crap seriously .

People who support the personalized loot as the only option to make the game "fair" are somehow forgetting that they are playing a game and such abstract mechanics ruin the feeling on the game world. As was said, the Path of Exile is a cutthroat game, its supposed to be harsh. Its supposed to be kinda unfair. You can play ranged or stealthy character but its your choice to be a coward who dont want to steal as much as he can. Dont blame the game on it.

This is something that Diablo 3 on the opposite made very wrong - its part of the softening the game, dumbling down. Atmoshpere dont matter anymore, what matters is that more types of players feel comfortable with it. And others can go to hell (not the ingame one of course). Its addictive immerssive tactic used in MMORPGs to keep players addicted and paying. Please, dont make PoE another Diablo 3.
after some hours Diablo 3.... i really must say D3 is not so good but the loot system is sooo much better then FFA.

I don't like the free loot system either, whether I'm in a random party of people that I do not know, or if I'm in a group of people that I regularly party with.

For example those rock elites in fellshrine that take ages to kill solo, you'll sit there for minutes killing it and someone else in the party walks up, kills it, takes what it drops, moves on. All that hard work for nothing except a ninjaloot.

Several people on my ventrilo server will knowingly take anything and everything they can regardless of if it will benefit them or not, they just sell it.

There needs to be some kind of option to set the way loot is looted.
