some bosses are just hard for summoners without CoD.

for example, overlords shock and horror's beam goes through the evangelists bubbles, and that shit is a joke. it makes my 4.6k life drop real fast even with purity of lightning, saffels AND lightning flask with flask nodes (97% max lightning resist total) and enfeeble on

not to the point I cant control it, of course, but still nonsense. if I hide behind the pillar cant direct summons to attack it either, so even evangelists die without CoD damage bonus.

basically only solution for summoners against such bosses is rushing them on some leroy jenkins yolo zerg shit

Lol I just realized I wrote palace Dominus but I was actually talking about residence (level 74 map). I wouldn't have complained about palace because it kinda IS supposed to be the hardest challenge. Note to self: proofreading.

Sorry for noob question, knowing its probably been asked so many times before, but... For burned miscreation spectres, whats currently the most effective/popular support gems available this patch (and hopefully next patch). ps i am not using CWDT.
If no COD then use something like minion life, minion damage, Inc area effect or conc effect and remote mine and maybe Inc burning dam or minion resists.

I'm only up to merciless act2 so i'm still gaining leveling gear, thus no 6 link gear. so what would be my priorities in gems, i'm currently using Raise Spectre, Minion Damage, Increased Burning Damage, Increased Area of Effect.
Also why would I want remote mine? (sorry if noob question) whats good about it?

I would prioritise Minion Life for survivability, Inc AOE to cover the screen and Minion Damage as its quality bones (+15% dam) makes it better than Inc Burning Dam.

Remote mine is good because you can slot it, lay the mine then use it to raise your spectre with the mines +30-45% damage bonus. This is a MORE bonus not an increase so it multiplies all your minions damage rather than just an increment on the base damage.

Is nobody using remote mine + trap anymore?

It takes a while to drag mobbs over the trap but, it's more dmg than min damage.
