Well I think kind of thread like that will be move to Suggestions section very fast, may be you already know the end.

You guys should remember that there will have 3 new skills for summoner:

1.0.6 has a summoning theme and contains:
Four new skills, all useful to summoners. One of them is a new type of (short-lived) minion, and the other three are utility skills.

Well they Nerfed CoD it seems :p i been playing with out it for the past week anyway to figure out what id replace it with and so far i still Feel like a fucking boss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not mad of the CoD nerf. I tried it out 2-3 times but it just seemed too tedious to make it worthwhile (especially without Montreguls). And anyway BM damage is still excellent without CoD. Till now I was able to solo all maps (though I don't have maps above lvl70)

I think if they don't touch snapshotting, this build is still gonna be one of the easiest to pull off. Most of the time you are not in any kind of danger and most of the time you are just running around cursing people/monsters.
So remote mine still works?

To be honest you guys have to admit the CoD 304% more damage boost was beyond op =). I knew in the back of my mind that it was going to catch fire and get nerfed eventually. So quit your whining, summoners are still great without CoD.

Build is still plenty fast at killing things just now you actually have the time to apply EE and curses.

I'll come by and play a bit of 1.0.6 and edit this guide accordingly. Curious what kind of changes to summoners are incoming.

I'm not saying we are weak now, far from it. It's just it was nice to be able to reliably kill hard hitting bosses. Not sure if I will do them anymore after this. No map piety/dominus/jungle valley boss for me. No point really, risk/reward is too bad.

Since you said "Maximizing Dps", wouldnt Trap serves better in terms of dps than Increased Burning Damage?
Increase Burning = increased 59%
Trap = more 34% + increased 30-40% (Sunblast)

BTW, RIP COD, no more 60% Area Increased from Q20 COD, bubbles are so much smaller nowadays. oh, and also the more 304% dmg. I will miss the days I could melt last stage Dominus within 5 sec.

Pretty sure the trap bonus from sunblast doesn't apply. At least there is no visible difference when timing kills with the Bm.

I guess I will have to reroll my chober again. This time to 5b1r, lol. And stop using MF gems on maps after 70-72. Will probably wait for the summoner update though.
