PoE 2 Account Banned for no reason?
" Interesting, I had emailed over the weekend but almost 100% sure it didn't get through. I got banned around 10:30pm pst on Dec 7, I didn't actually realize I could appeal on the website until last night around 9pm pst, so sounds like around 12 hours after you did depending on your time zone. Pretty sure the date/time below is when my ban started (maybe it's not PST or there was a delay?) Hopefully they get to it soon then. My ban appeal on my other linked account Strife025#7570 currently has this on it. Reason: "Please contact Support" Started: Dec 8, 2024, 6:25:42 AM Ban Appeal: Pending Review " When did you appeal through the website? A friend of mine with the Username of Settlers17#1277 just got banned with the same reason while playing in act 3. Please help fix this issue.

I was just unbanned after about 41 hours so support is definitely making their way through whatever backlog they have.

My account Flapman#1320 also got banned about 2 days ago around level 40. I've mailed and submitted an appeal, but have not heard back. I made this new account so I could reply to this thread and raise awareness. Atleast it's good to know I wasn't the only one affected by this bug. Hopefully resolving this issue has GGG's priority, seeing how disruptive it is to the users experiencing it...

My account (HardPrimat#5269) was banned more than 3 days ago and instantly created the ban-appeal.
Ban details Reason: "" Started: Dec 7, 2024, 11:39:18 PM Ban Appeal: Pending Review Sadly as I think I was one of the earlier ones to be banned this way I had no clue about that Act3 / Level 40 situation so I just answered in the ban-appeal very confused.. So as we just learned, that support team is not working on ban-appeals, my explanation details i've sent later will now be completely lost? Does this need to be moved to Bug Reports?
This is a serious problem... Something is wrong with the automated ban system. This isn't so much a "Help and Information" problem, as it's a "Get you technicians on this problem immediately" problem. My 2c anyways. |

Hello, GGG development team. I am a player from China. My friend encountered the same bug mentioned above in Chapter 3 of the game when reaching level 40 on the 8th.
My friend is unable to post or reply on the forum because their account has been banned.This makes them feel very frustrated. Although he hasn’t played much of the first game, he has shown great enthusiasm for the second one and has already spent over ten hours playing it. As soon as he was banned, he contacted you via email and the official appeal channels. Unfortunately, 48 hours have passed, and he still hasn’t received a response. I am very surprised that so many players have encountered this bug, and this makes me quite upset—not just because their normal gameplay was labeled as "cheating," but also because of your passive after-sales support and AI-like, scripted responses to the issues. Perhaps you might use the upcoming Christmas holiday as an excuse to dismiss players' concerns, but choosing to release a test during the holiday season without providing adequate support sounds absolutely ridiculous. Therefore, I want to make it clear here that my friend [Cedric1932#5618] has not engaged in any cheating or violated the game rules. Anybody knows if ban-appeal support is only located in NZ?
If yes, does that mean that we have to wait again 18 hours till the next start of the working shift? :( |
