PoE 2 Account Banned for no reason?

Hey there,

In order to appeal a ban that has been placed on your account, you will need to log into that account on the Path of Exile website and go to your account profile. On that page there will be an option to appeal your ban, in the sidebar on the right side of the page.

Please submit your ban appeal on the website and it will be reviewed by a senior member of staff as soon as possible. Once an appeal has been processed, it is not possible to appeal a second time, and we are not able to process any ban appeals made via our Support team.

Hi Lisa,

The problem is that my account page doesn't show the ban and I can't appeal the ban. I tried to contact the chat messaging system and sent a message to support and I didn't get a response either.

I have been without access to the game for more than 24 hours, with no concrete answers on how I can proceed.

Please resolve this as soon as possible, these automatic messages are getting ridiculous.

Thank you for your response, but it’s extremely frustrating to receive yet another generic reply that does nothing to address the core issue. My account was banned for supposedly having "too many accounts" when in reality, I purchased PoE2 on Steam to create a new account, not wanting to use my outdated, largely inactive original GGG account. Now I’m being punished for what seems to be a completely arbitrary reason.

This ban has caused me to lose not only my access to the game but also valuable time I set aside to play with friends. I’ve taken time off work specifically for this release, and instead of enjoying the game I paid for to support GGG, I’m wasting my time appealing an unjust ban and receiving unhelpful, automated replies.

I’ve already submitted my appeal via the proper channels, yet I’m still in the dark. These repetitive and robotic responses from GGG staff feel dismissive and degrading, as if the players experiencing this nightmare are being treated like fools.

We’re not asking for much—just swift action, transparency, and accountability. We paid for this game, supported your company, and now only want to regain access to the accounts we rightfully own and the game we’re eager to play. This situation is unacceptable, and it’s damaging the trust and goodwill of loyal players like me.

Please escalate this matter, review my case properly, and help me regain access to my account. Enough with the generic replies—it’s time for real, effective support.
people are getting banned because of some bugs and their priority is nerfing skills 🤣
Nice, so we finally get a GGG answer to this thread and it’s saying to do what we have been doing since the bugban hit.

We’ve submitted a “ban appeal” obviously, because aside from posting here is the ONLY option we have. You’re loosing customers because of this BUG spreading, so unban all of us who got wrongly banned and fix the bug.

There shouldn’t be no “appeal” because it’s a BUG of your game, not our actions leading to a legit ban.

And what if you don’t trust our appeals and just keep account banned? We can’t even respond to that? Really?

I completely understand your frustration, and honestly, this entire situation is absolutely maddening. These generic, empty responses from GGG staff do nothing but add insult to injury. Being told to ‘contact support’ after already doing so multiple times—and being completely ignored—is beyond disrespectful. It feels like they’re not even trying to help or take responsibility.

What’s even worse is that I can’t even reply to your private message. GGG has restricted my ability to contact other users, forcing me to only "reach out to support." First, I can’t play the game. Then, on my banned account, I can’t even reply to posts on the forum. Now, on this fresh account created solely to participate on the forum, I can’t reach out to fellow banned users because, apparently, GGG doesn’t want us communicating. Everything is confirmed, the account is active, registration verified—and still, I’m blocked from meaningful interaction.

This is not just a ban; it’s an entire system designed to isolate players and prevent them from finding solidarity or seeking real answers. It’s a complete disgrace. GGG, where is this going? How did it come to treating paying players like this? It’s a nightmare from every angle, and the silence, restrictions, and lack of transparency are nothing short of appalling.

I was banned almost 48 hours ago in POE2 (still shows as banned when I try to log on), but there is nothing on My Account page indicating I'm banned or how to appeal.

So what exactly am I supposed to do?

Also had this happened to me, sent emails about 5 days ago. No replies, no acknowledgment that my ticket was even received. Please share that this is happening with the community so that they can look at this.
