PoE 2 Account Banned for no reason?

I'm highly concerned now, as I was just super confused I just wrote.
Dear GGG, I played yesterday, went to bed and now I'm banned without any reason?? I took the day off and can't play now! :( Why am I banned? As I was one of the earlier ones banned on Saturday evening I wasn't aware about this general situation and just didn't know what to write. So if i got you right and they only check an appeal for a ban once, this means my 10+ year 2000$+ account is on the line due to that?? This makes me soo nervous! |

Why and how are some people getting unbanned after less than a day? and ive been banned for 3+ days? sent in the appeal 5 mins after being banned.. so confused

I do not have this issue but I noticed that every person who got banned has an account from 2012-2013. I didn't check everyone, just clicked some names at random. Maybe the system is flagging inactive old accounts that suddenly became active again? Perhaps it was the target of a hacking attempt at one point (old accounts are often targeted).

From my side my account is 10+ years old but played active over the whole time
(https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/HardPrimat-5269) but I linked for the PoE2 Release a mail address to it, as I wasn't sure if steam makes it on time. So maybe some auto logic thought, that suddenly on an old account now a mail is linked looks suspicious? |

Could be true, but why wait till act 3? why level 40 or so? this is still wrong tho.
i am so frustrated, this beyond bad support rn. Never been treated like this with any support ever. like full silence, in the dark about something i paid for and respected all my engagements which i cant say the same from GGG's side. |

I got my account ban too chen reaching the lvl 40. And there is no "appeal the ban" link on my account profil. I send a message at the support but what can I do without the appeal button Hope everybody will be unlock by the unfair ban Thank you |

So my account IS old but not inactive, I have 8-10000 hours played.
