[POE 2] Loot Disappears On Death

This has happened to me several times.

+1. Swarmed by hyenas after the boss fight at the start of Act 2, die, and all that hard earned loot is gone. Not fun.
There is only one reason why mobs do not auto-despawn after a boss kill, and that reason is disgusting. There is no value in invalidating the kill with a cheap death, that is rage quit material.
Whoever wrote before, how to reset a map by reaching a waypoint and ctrl + left click and then create a new instance, YOU ARE A SAVIOUR!

I wouldn't go that far, challenge in this game make you actually think about what you are doing. But with loot being "meh" losing bunch of nice items is really frustrating.

It certainly seems so, feel the weight.
IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE!!! Loot is vanishing on death, have to fight all the respawned crap to get back there and the loot is gone. My first 2 rares lost this way. Honestly such a demotivation. Makes me want to steam refund and not support this moving forward.

Its fucked my boss reward like the 30 spirit and potentially can ruin the main quest if main quest item that needed from the boss.

We can not restore dead hardcore characters or lost items for any reason. This is a general policy and we do not make exceptions. Due to bugs, items may be lost or characters may die due to reasons outside of your control. Please do report these incidents in the Bug Reports forum, but do not contact support asking for restoration. We are working hard to fix the underlying problems so that such losses do not occur in the future.


So it is a bug probably.
