Exact same. Really bad design, highly unenjoyable.

I just lost my first unique loot at the start of act 2 as I died after I killed the boss from DoT. I'm extremely frustrated, I know it's early access but come on.

Killed Count Geonor but died as well and no loot upon return. Loot lost.

After almost quitting the game because I couldn't get by Rathbreaker as a Sorc. I finally managed to kill him, only to die by a mob of surrounding hyenas right after. When I returned all of the hard earned loot was gone. What a cheesy thing to do...

yeah this kills the enjoyment man i was full HP boss dies from and i get one shot somehow and loot is no more makes you want to reset progress.

Adding to this, it's frustrating to see an unique drop, then you die and it's gone.

No word on a fix for this yet? Really is killing the momentum of the game, if you want to reset the area on death that's fine, at least have all loot scooped up and dropped into a remove only tab in stash or something, Diablo 4 will send legendary/Unique gear to your stash in a list window for you to claim. Not really liking losing all the loot I need to be better because some invisible force that isn't there decided it wanted to one shot me.

Killed the "Watchful Twins" in an arena with a massive slow while chilled in melee.

Both died but one corpse exploded and killed me afterwards.

Cannot even reset the fight to recover loot.

This is not good game design please fix, at the very least don't lock out rewards for post kill deaths. I'd be fine with having to re-roll the boss entirely. But feeling like I'd be better off not having fought it is not cool.

Same thing here. Killed the Heina boss at the begining of Act 2, got overrun by mobes, my ranger got stucked, pinned down to the wall, and died. I respawn at checkpoint and the loot was gone. At least 4 yellow/gold items, like come on bruh...

I wouldn't mind even fighting it again, as It was easy and pleasurable fight. Is there a way to fight it again? Reset, roll back? It hurts...
