Absolutely disapointed -- This game is hard, and not in a fun way.

You can't cater to everyone. That's alright. Just please don't let PoE 1 wither away.

That is a fact.. peopel that like POE1 shoudl play POE 1 and keep it in GGG focus so they keep developing it. And people that like POE2 shoudl play POE2.

Period !

You start out in Act 1 in a game. Propper character planning should not be a thing at this point in the game. You should be able to progress and learn the game and the way to plan characters as you go. What you describe would mean that players would be forces to inhale all the knowledge before even starting and this is not how starting a game works.

I really can't understand what they were thinking when some small fire bug in first zone when you go outside of the city literally 1 shot you with little fire ball... I mean for real? I understand POE have to be hard and complicated, but this? Not a single person here can tell me that isn't retard all the way... +

sorry but... bullshit... not a signle enemy except the bosses in first zone one shot you
the fire bugs needs exaclty 3 shtos to kill a level 1 character

sorry but no... figure of speech mate, you cannot tell me that damage from normal mobs isn't imba... you just cant...

I insta-died twice to those. sometimes a one-shot isn't literally one hit bigger than your health, but losing 100% health in a fraction of a second to a number of hits. Try not to assume that someone elses experience that is different from yours must be a lie.

It isn't, you just don't notice in PoE 1 because it's easy to keep the mobs away. The only difference is in PoE 2 its harder to avoid them

+1, this bloke clearly doesn't know what he's talking about... campaign should be enjoyable and where you learn how to do this or that, not rolling around and realizing that 3 mobs with poison damage will kill you instantlly if you dont mow in that same second... damage from mob is imba and that's a fact
I think at least for act 1 the difficulty is maybe a bit too high and it just is all a bit to slow, even just killing trash is taking a bit too long.

Same goes for boss fights there is no problem making it hard but at least make sure that for example resurrecting someone is actually possible cause in a lot of fights there is so much happening that there is hardly ever a point where you can rez someone.

The problem is, why would you maintain 2 games that are essentially the same thing? You'll invest more in the one that is making the money.

If you've got say, 80% casual players and 20% hardcore (and I am just using those numbers as an example) you have 2 choices for the 80%.

A small % keep on with POE2, but many try to go back to POE1, if you havent maintained it and they feel your focus is on POE2, aka you have abandoned them as customers, they will abandon you for something else.

So you either invest still significantly in POE1 to keep them, or you make POE2 more casual friendly.

You can do that, AND still keep the difficulty hounds happy too.

Just add the game as it is now as Ruthless and let them play that.

Detune it a bit, make things a bit easier, a bit more loot, a bit less health etc, and make that as a non ruthless mode.

Much simpler and more economical than trying to split between games, and it really does make almost everyone happy.
I'm done buying anything until we get some clarity on the future of POE1 and POE2 and I know GGG plans to spend effort on a game I want to play.

Tell us if POE1 still has your top tier support or if POE2 will get a mode for more casual play.
I love the game so much.
I don’t know which % love it that way but I am so happy it’s not like Poe 1 aka ultra fast screen one button 0 gameplay fest.

I am really sorry for those who don’t like it but I really really hope it will not be a build planner only like Poe 1.

I really love the pace the graphic, ambiance, and most of all, the fact you have to really play to progress, not spam just one freakin move and one freaking skill button that will delete de the entire screen if your build is correct.

Please don’t destroy the game it’s in good shape, just continue

You also have to this for reputation alone. Players of PoE1 where living with less big leagues while the team worked on 2 and where fine with it because they expected an upgrade. Now the game is out and it doesnt feel like an upgrade ppl will get mad and the reputation loss will cause issues.
