Merging Accounts

I have the same problem and to top it off I sent a friend invite to my other account. Now I always show as offline so I can't edit anything. I can't unfriend that account and I can't accept or decline with the other account. I'm hoping they can find a work around for this mess. All I wanted was 1 POE account.
So many issues and no response. 'we are working on it' - maybe - *IF* the email even got through. At least I have only been waiting 10 days unlike some others..
Same issue, have an empty account with 300 coins and another one with main character. Would be nice to have an opportunity to transfer coins beetween accounts.
same I would of started again but they said if u messaged support they would merge the microtransations ive been waiting to hear back now since the 7th
Same here, two accounts, point and twitch-drop on one and heroes on another. Already send two emails to supports. I'm ready to loose everything, just make me just one account, it's such a nervious situation, can't enjoy the game peacifully.

At least you have 300 coins to buy few stash tabs. I have 0 coins, 4 default tabs, 0 mtx. My merged account (which one I linked by email because steam key could not be redeemed on launch day) even DO NOT have access to this game (lol), but when I logged in, it was selected by default on character creation and I did not even know about this "sub-accounts". Such a bad game design...

Another thread w/ no response. Come on GGG, why are even the emails being ignored. Has anyone received a response/solution?
I'm having this issue as well, very poorly implemented, confusing and unnecessary.
What the hell is going on

GGG staff are replying to threads with 1 post that have been up 2 minutes but aren't replying to a 12 page one full of complaints!?!?
Okay, guys, I just literally nearly had a heart attack, god damn it.


So I have used this Merge to add my Steam account to current profile (the one I use right now). The problem was that my old PoE 1 account was also attached to my Steam account and I got exactly the same message as OP. And I bought PoE 2 and played PoE 2 exclusively on Xbox.


So I have merged them, and after starting PoE 2 on Xbox all of a sudden all my characters and MTXs were gone completely! I thought I have legit bricked my account or something lol.


So I found this Reddit thread:

For anyone with this issue: Try running through the quick intro tutorial section until you get to the first settlement. Then logout and back in. I was able to re-choose sub accounts after it was done forcing character creation



So I did exactly that:

1. Created a Sorc on this empty account to quickly zoom through first area;

2. Killed Miller;

3. Got into settlement and completed first quest;

4. Logged-out to character selection;

5. Then pressed 'B' to logout again;

6. Then logged back-in, and now I have the drop-down option to select my sub-account on character selection screen by pressing Right stick.


God damn it, it was intense lol.
