Same, been waiting all day for my mtx to appear and turns out they're on a different account

I couldn't get my verification link so my curiosity got the best of me, and I click start new and now its prompting me to merge my accounts smh. What do I dooooo lol.

I also now have 2 account for some reason points and mtx on one account (old) and nothing on poe2 account (new).

Same :( I couldn't redeem Steam key (feature was not working after early access purchasing). So I linked my email and it happened to link my old account.

And, of course, after the logging in into standalone client, it was logged in old account (which actually has no access to poe 2, but who cares). So now my Poe 2 character trapped inside sub account.

Only today I found the select combobox of sub accounta... Sad story. I wish to transfer character and drop old account.

"Glad" to see so many people speaking up with the same issue as I have. Hopefully it gets resolved.

I downloaded & booted up PoE2 with Steam because the PoE website was down. Then I wasn't able to successfully merge (delayed confirmation email); played all night.

Could likely ditch Steam now, but it seems like that would mean ditching the 22hrs of play time progress on these characters.

I just want my PoE1 stash tabs from PoE account transferred to PoE2 on Steam account. I thought merging accounts would accomplish that, but apparently not.

I also have none of the mtx I purchased on pc or consol in poe 2. now that the trade market is open I can't trade my gear and put it for auction at all. I love the game I hope they fix it soon. I have 600 points in one of my sub accounts and the cosmetics I just bought and they're non existant in poe 2. I love the game so wait we shall I suppose

I really hope they fix this or I'm gonna be pissed, I only noticed when I was enjoying the game so much and wanted to upgrade, then noticed I have nothing to upgrade with.


I don't care if my old PoE1 Charactors are lost or don't come across, I just want my 300 points and to be able to upgrade on my linked Steam account.


I bet they are absolutely flooded with support tickets due to this, and they will ignore us all and come out with a fix as if they manually merge, it will take them forever as opposed to coming up with an instant fix for all accounts.

I understand console not sharing or being able to transfer over points, but standalone to steam or PC > PC account surely should work.
