I got this message. If I understood it correctly the accounts don't get 'merged', but one of them gets overwritten, is that correct?

If I look at the two profiles it says that I joined at the same day, so I don't see why that are two seperate accounts...

I didn't play POE1 very much, but I would prefer not to loose my chars due to this merging-process...

Actually I just want to pre-download POE2 and then play on Steam.

But if it doesn't work, I might just wait until the download starts on steam. :(

I have the same question. I am trying to merge my pc and xbox accounts. I have different mtxs on both, and would like to know if merging will effectively erase one set of mtxs. If so witch one.

If you merge/link you'll have sub-accounts (pic below)

So you can use pc sub-account on xbox and have access to the mtx on that sub-account but to use the xbox mtx youd have to use the xbox sub-account

you can transfer all mtx from one sub-account to the other but they will only do it once one way and you'll need to contact support to do so also note im at 2 weeks waiting my transfer

(as for pre-downloading on steam still no info about that might not get to or might be a few hours before launch)

I have exactly same issue, i bought PoE2 on steam and wanted to play them i connected accounts and now i have my old PoE 1 account normaly and that Steam wchich i can switch and there is my points from early access pack but i dont have stashtabs or mtx or anything there.

I know its still early and there are maybe issues with that, but i still wanted to ask if problem is maybe on my side or should i wait for fix.

I have the same issue, I'm really upset as I've spent time on my new char and I'm worried what is going to happen now as I can't spend my points or upgrade.






I have 2 accounts, my main one with Steam connection, Twitch connection and my new char on from PoE 2

and my old one with PoE 1 chars on and my points on, but I want to spend my points and upgrade using the one above and ditch my PoE 1, even if it means losing my PoE 1 chars that's ok, I just want the above account to be the main one with the points.


I've emailed support about this and waiting for a response, they will most likely be flooded with requests but I really want to upgrade :(

I'm in the same boat. Steam made a new account and I had my old Xbox account. Even though they're "merged" everything it's still split internally with currency and characters still separated. It will be nice if I can just merge everything into just 1.

You guys are telling me! I have -THREE- accounts. One Steam, One Microsoft and the other just the email for this website.

The Steam is the PoE2 account and the Microsoft one is the one with all the mtx. I emailed them because I'm scared I'll F something up!

This is what they were dreading when they initially said they wouldn't have mtx's transferable. Lol
