Stop allowing streamers to have input on Gauntlet.

Just don't die during the event, problem solved.

I don't like the very concept of hardcore, and there's no way I can play this game without dying lol

So no, that isn't a solution at all. The solution is just make softcore events.

Organize your own even, set your own rules and fund the rewards, and I hope someone else will make same topic about it.

At this point this is turning to a hate speech towards event organizers.

You could just like many others can, but sure takes more practice and more patience as things can't be just 6 portal corpse rushed on a glass cannon, less so on a gauntlet with extra nice settings.

This is the only solution for you as I doubt neither Zizaran, Steelmage, GGG nor anyone else being involved into the event organization is going to suddenly do SC gauntlets just because someone is so nitpicky about the mode they choose for obvious reasons.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

Best to let go of this stubborn "I don't play hc" mindset and just login and enjoy the event like everyone else.
But fomo seems to be out of control these days, in various ways.

I am literally incapable of playing hc. I can't stand the idea of dying and losing so much progress, even exp loss and losing portals is too much for me in softcore.

So I can't just login and enjoy the event lol

Maybe do some self-reflection and figure out why you have such an inescapable attachment to a free digital character and loot.

Maybe its for the best then that they don't?

Nope

Gauntlet event just keeps getting bigger and bigger each time as well. So its just increasing in its success.

SC gauntlets would be over in a day, and then you have to contend with all the cheaters. So its just not going to happen.
Mash the clean
I feel there's two core issues at play here with one giving rise to the other. So let's see if I can't define this more clearly.

1. Gauntlet. Let's face it, Gauntlet is simply a marketing opportunity created by professional PoE players. It's open to all players because that's good marketing engagement and it's HC primarily because there's a healthy dose of schadenfreude from many stream viewers in seeing the pros die. I don't have a problem at all with this. Cry havoc and let slip the frogs of war... or some such.

2. The fact that there is a Gauntlet event is a prompt to other sections of the player community that there aren't other end of league events that may be more tailored to them. Now, perhaps there are some events coming in the near future and it wouldn't be good form to launch them at the same time as Gauntlet and compete with that, but it could have been a good time to advertise them to the community as coming soon. That would have been very smart marketing to keep players engaged over a protracted period.

It's a reasonable expectation as GG used to care about keeping the community engaged and would run events like that. Comms from GG is something that could arguably improve a significant amount.

So that's my observation on the disappointment expressed by some people here and the resulting reaction from others who perceive they are being unreasonable. As usual in the world, people seem to be arguing about two subtly different things while thinking they are the same. Everyone's trying to solve "the problem" but they haven't actually defined the problem correctly to begin with.

For me personally, I've played some HC events in the past and I dislike them. I understand why some players enjoy them, and I understand why some players don't. I have zero interest in playing or watching the Gauntlet but I would be interested in seeing some end of league events to play in.

Best that they don't what? Have a gauntlet? You can't be serious.

can you at least have the basic human decency to change the title of this thread ? streamers are the ones doing all the work. just this time did ggg add the extra mods on bosses. if you want sc events just ask ggg to do sc events, the gauntlet wouldnt exist without streamers. and they dont owe you anything. you re not paying them anything directly or indirectly.
and yes you can very easily doing a private sc league and do an event. for instance bpl is exactly that. someone moved his ass, did the work and it happened.
how can this be even a discussion ?

Streamers get payed especially popular ones supported by game developers and in doing these events tend to also make money from that.

I don't see how any of them are owed an apology by the OP, Its unlikely they will ever come to this forum and read it.

Please give the game back to the community GGG.
