The Self Found League

whats taking them so long to implement this? Option are good. Besides RMT negates much of the so-called successful players acheivements. I get spammed so much playing this game with crypto RMT websites in trade chat RMT must be very prevalent destroying GGGs whole model/ideal anyway. Whats the point of ladders at all with RMT so prevelent - save your money GGG and delete all optional leagues. SFL would take you closer to a merit based game.

I play self found. I also delete my HC toons on death way its supposed to be. But no one would care either way because we dont have self founded and real HC.

To bad itemization, character customization, cooldowns, PvP, no end game and many more things all suck in diablo. I'd play it but GGGs game is better and would be a lot better with SFL.

I'd like this too!

A league where as a self-found player you actually have a chance of finding enough orbs to use them for crafting rather than trading... mmmmm

There has to be a low point where some people stop complaining because it's just not worth it, and I have yet to see it. - Squeakypaw, 2013

I'd pay a monthly fee to GGG if they started a self found league. I'm not kidding.

This

Especially if said league were balance around there being no trade. Heck even though i solo 90% of the time, more likely to make new friends and group more playing in a league with like minded people.

oh and of course, I'd need a whole heap more stash tabs (take my money)

I might pay for a self found league. I still don't like how dual daggers shadow can't be melee-viable in HC, so it's a toss up. But this kind of league is definitely several times more likely to get me to fork over cash for the game.
my evasion is so high i only insta rip sometimes

Bug Fixes:
People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Also, we went ahead and made cyclone great for CoC casters while we were at it.
Char Slot bundles.
Self found league with higher orb drop rates (MUCH higher for rare orbs) to make crafting not frustrating - oh man that would be awesome. No other changes required.

Im sorry but thats just not what GGG has in mind. Sometimes you have to conform with what you are presented with.
It is a shame this never gathered any traction. A SFL with party loot would be awesome. The NEED to trade to be able to feel as though you are contributing in the other leagues can get disheartening. Plus the content should be HARD!!! Who remembers in WoW when they released Burning Crusade. Those were the days, content that was near on impossible (we only just managed to clear sunwell pre WotLK) in a game that was designed around a self found principle (Bind on Pickup).

I used to play POE with 5-6 friends, all of whom stopped playing because when I traded for better gear, and they did not, I was suddenly massively overpowered in comparison. With a self found league that is a permanent league I could see them more than happy to play again.

If the player made leagues ever make it into the game I'd gladly pay a few thousand points to form a self found league, it would also be permanent and not season related, I'd play in there all the time !
