Delirium Statistics
Some subjective crap:
I like wings. I don't like capes. I didn't like the Metamorph portal. It looked like a fart rocket. Have you ever considered trading the sword for the plow, Exile?

" Rewards are less interesting & there are too many RNG type challenges. On top of, I 'm not too happy with the League content because mostly of the performance issue. So, I'm having difficulty to motivate myself even reaching 24. If I was not staying at home & not much else to do, I would have stopped playing by now & don't even care what challenges I have completed. There are two issues that can be better addressed, I feel:
1. Duration of encounter The mechanics of the delirium fog seem to emphasize swift clears of maps straight to bosses to max the loot before slowly returning to the start to complete looting/ finish Alva/Jun encounters etc. This feels very inefficient and tedious. 2. Latency spikes I like the difficulty scaling with the orbs, as well as the tougher mobs within delirium - but that is all pointless since the latency spikes are so intense and unpredictable that when it happens, I can barely scrape by my own annoyance to complete the map. Asked around on reddit and global and the complaint seems fairly common. |

"I hit 24 a week ago, then basically took a break from playing. Now, I just dabble, doing whatever. Why? Looking at the remaining 16 challenges I have not done yet, they are all bologna, and I have no real intention of doing them. Like I want to sit and play Chance Orb, Scour, repeat until RNG gives me a unique, or grind to level 100, or defeat map bosses where I have to stand around lollygagging, running in circles, waiting for them to do something specific before I'm allowed to kill them, etc., etc. "
"running in circles" +1 ...haha... I literally found myself running around the Map Device several times in the last week... |

The only good part about this league is cluster jewels, and that's excluding the blatant exploits allowed by the fact you let notables stack (they would still be fun without stacking, but there wouldn't be so many broken op builds).
The league itself is unfun and I bet you're gonna "fix" it when it's over, as you did with blight and metamorph, because you definitely couldn't just fix it when it was still current and relevant eh? What's wrong with this league? 1. Bad performance. Crashes, fps drops, screen freezes, even with lowest graphics / sound settings and playstyle that isn't particle intensive (god forbid you play ice nova or volatile dead or icestorm etc.) 2. Bad visuals. Boring grey / white fog that also covers a lot of important ground effects (still). 3. Backtracking. Even with "don't you guys have loot filters?" in mind, stopping to loot can easily kill you so the "correct" way to play is rush forward and not loot until whole delirium is over. Other issues I have would be the case of opinion and people could disagree, but the above I think a lot of others would share the sentiment. My wishlist for the next league: 1. Actually have a stable fps even if it's 20-30 only but no chops / load lag. 2. No monochrome / 1-colour boring scheme. 3. No ground clutter like metamorph tar / delirium fog. The wings are cool, but I don't think I'll manage to get them (got legion and synthesis ones in the past). |

The reason I don't go for 36 challenges isn't because of the rewards. I think the wings are sick.
It's that I keep getting bored of playing the end-game less than 2 weeks after getting to it. |

" Why are people so obsessed over this it is blowing my mind. I am sorry but you can't play a "slower niche build" but then expect the whole game to be slowed down just for you, just pick up the loot and accept the fact you won't get as far it's completely fine - it will still be there next map |

Some of the challenges are too RNG based for my liking.
Killing 500 map bosses in the mist and blighted boss is annoying. Using Betrayal benches. Meh. Not difficult, but I don't like doing Betrayal. I had fun doing the challenges in Metamorph, not as much fun with the Delirium challenges comparatively. I don't necessarily consider Delirium challenges harder...just more expensive and generally not fun in a handful of cases. (Spamming chance orbs, opening Perandus chests, Curious Corruption etc.) I'll do 24 challenges, I like the cloak. However, these particular wings offered won't warrant the effort for 36 challenges from me. If I get there, cool. If not, I'm still good. I'm having a lot of fun with the league strictly from a gameplay perspective, though. I've been fortunate to mostly avoid the performance issues. Been making tons of currency and plowing through huge piles of juiced up mobs feels great. Last edited by jadams4286#2392 on Apr 9, 2020, 8:58:17 PM

Is not that Delirium's set of challenges are more difficult than Metamorph's. It's the league itself. In Metamorph , after i got all the rewards , i still felt joy in playing the league. But Delirium... a was rushing the challenges to be done with the league , as soon as possible. Reasons : The timer , imposing pressure . Loot left behind and going back to pick it up . And after death , mob skills , able to kill your high level chars , even in T1 maps.
