Chaos to alt ratio ripoff
Guess it's a crime to try and do a service to newer players and keep them from getting ripped off. This is a waste of my time, as is anything I ever try to do to help anyone. It's clear the only people seeing this thread are the ones doing the ripping off, so it's not accomplishing anything. I hope you all feel proud of yourselves for taking advantage of people.

U can't rip ppl off its a goddamn barter system. Sigh fking scrubscore babies man...

" So there's no ripping off in a barter system? Okay, how about I give you 1 liter of milk, and in exchange you give me 10 kilos of bread, 50 kilos of fresh meat, 2 iPads, the deed to a luxurious mansion in LA, a helicopter, and a jetpack? I mean, it's not a rip off at all since it's barter, right? So if you are low on milk, go on, give me all that stuff.... |

" If you need milk that much then yeah..sure, why not? How do you think they did it back in the days? checked a website for values?? IGN: Gahrlaag

I read the first couple of pages.
This topic is dumb, people will trade what they think they can get. Regardless of whether or not the vendor has a price set for part of the process used when they do their routine to try to make a profit off trading. Their not getting ripped off if both sides are happy with the trade. "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right!" Henry Ford

I'd bet all the supporters of being dishonest and douche baggy are all American. It's an epidemic of " not my problem", " I didn't see anything" , " it's a dog eat dog world" and " not my problem".
Not surprising they'll rip people off and justify it as " hey if the buyer doesn't know any better, that equates to " happy" so everyone is happy right? Are you guys for real? |
|
" Since I noticed this after I posted. While I'm sure they all thanked you for your information about pricing, its not necessary. If they would have been happy with the trade, let them be happy. People have been profiting off each other since trade began. Remember, there is no standard for currency, even those set by vendors have a value outside of that depending on need. " Way to generalize, you are an asset to your country. "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right!" Henry Ford

" Happiness doesn't mean it's a good deal, especially if the player is new. Eventually, he will become more experienced and then look back and realize that he got ripped off when he was new, exactly as I felt when someone convinced me to sell my 6 socket for 4 jewelers to him when I could have sold to the NPC for 7. In the end, lots of low people here. They just don't care as long as they profit. But when they get stinged, I bet they will rage. Last edited by Emil_kof#7098 on Mar 16, 2013, 1:20:46 PM

" Actually, yes, it does. In a barter system if both parties are happy its a good deal. If you regret it later, your just having buyers/sellers remorse. You learn from it, and next time ask for more on a similar trade. If both take it again, you are both happy. You're telling me you have never traded something and made a profit?
