I hope they reconsider gladiator since they just nerfed it. maybe upgrade smaller nodes or bigger nodes but if it goes out like this it will be underpowered.

Yes, you're right. That 8% crit replaces the final base crit chance of your weapon. Keep in mind that the increase crit chance skill gem affects the skill, not the weapon so it will still calculate normally.

OKAY Herer is what it does.

Eclipse Staff
Staff
Physical Damage: 60–125
Critical Strike Chance: 6.00% This will be 8% Instead of the normal 6%
Attacks per Second: 1.20
Weapon Range: 11
Requires Level 70, 117 Str, 117 Int


"100% increased Global Critical Strike Chance"


This will give your global crit more crit yes

But "+#% increased Critical Strike Chance" Rolled on the weapon Will NOT increase the base 8%

Actually, this area is significantly reworked. Nearly all visible nodes are new. And where is Crimson Dance?
