Betrayal Statistics

Was disappointed to see that all progress lost after mastermind completion, and rewards were terrible, so not much incentive to do again tbh, and for hardcore characters, it's not worth the risk at all.
The difference in values between Research and Intervention in relation to Transportation and Fortification is to make you laugh. All this just because of Scarabs and Riched Breachstones ...

Meanwhile, normal players who did not influence the appearance of these two Safehouses, are only willing to try to complete some Challenge

Worst league up to date from my experience.

New content is incredibly boring and unrewarding to do while you are mapping, there is no benefit to do syndicate content at all compared to running Harbour bridge 24/7 which was immensely disappointing.

Mastermind is a joke, mechanic, rewards, fight, everything I can think of.

Delve was crippled.

The one and only single positive thing I can say about this league was Incursion and that's because of the loot you gain after you run an Incursion while you map, Temple runs are also incredibly boring, unsatisfying and just meh.

AGREED! I 100% agreed with all that you stated. I to feel the same way about this league. To me it felt lack luster for me, and the delve experience was cut by 50% of its fun. Mastermind. A joke. And again, delve was splintered by the nerf in sulfate. Only way to get is through rare encounters in map and or scarbs.
Also want to note the Pure stones are just crazy. Get 100, and now there is nothing to do. I guess you can make another toon, or play kingdom hearts 3/RE:2 remake. (that's what I'm doing now. lol)

YOLO!
Core PoE is in a good enough place. Betrayal absolutely is not. Scarabs and benches should become core and be about 10x more common (I think I got about 30 scarabs throughout my 200 hours all league, utterly preposterous for something with its own "farmable" fragment zones), but the "masters" and that god-awful board should be ditched, forever.
(2-3-2019) Buff underused skills (3.23?!)+ selfcast, stop nerfing defense, build in threshold jewels (3.23?!), implement D3-style looting, add death log + MTX preview, actually rework flasks, stop balancing around the .01%, unnerf Harvest, ADD NEW WAYS TO LEVEL, finally implement Loot 2.0

agree that the rewards being pretty lame for the mastermind fight was a leak

but thought overall the fight was fun, even took a few goes to get my first kill which i like (maybe having the safe-houses reset if you brick the run and keeping it intact if you get the kill woulda been better but prob doesnt make much sense lore wise meh)

game needs more challenging content so im all for aids bosses with wtf is going on mechanics just give us better loot xd

Agreed. Better loot from mastermind would make it more worth it.

Like for instance, Delve (my favorite league by far) You have 3 types of boss encounter, hard to locate, the deeper the delve boss the more challenging they are, and the rewards are pretty good to my standards.

The mastermind fight is literally the worst-designed fight in the game. I wouldn't always run it right away but I'd sure as hell have run it more than twice ever if it wasn't such trash-tier garbage.

It's not just "hard". I farm uber elder. I can handle "hard". It's bad. Really, really bad.
Oh, forgot to add, sulphite was still a colossal mistake to ever even consider adding. It's been changed, what, 8 times now? And we've been telling you to remove it since... oh yeah, since 3 weeks before Delve even came out.

Ill give this league a 4/10. Too much change too fast and too many crashes. 1% of player base completes challenges. 3% do mastermind. skipped 60% of league safehouses (Fortification, Transportation, mastermind) till eventually skipping 100% of the league.
I didn't expect to figure within the 1.08% players who completed 36/40 lol

Though I can't lie to myself : paying a carry to get some help (Uber Elder, Mastermind's Challenges & Uber Atziri + related challenge) is part of POE but a kind of easy solution.

Still doesn't change the fact I love Betrayal content (not participating previously to Incursion & Bestiary leagues also helps) & every new stuff added / changed, like Hideouts, crafting systems, dailies, etc
Betrayal is a very bad league in a very good patch.

The league mechanic is basically just hidden once you get to red tier maps unless you're playing a super meta S1 build. You farm it in foothills otherwise. It's not fun playing having random hits that belong in maps +5 over the one you're in. It's not that fun to feel compelled to avoid the league mechanic in order to play reasonably.

Why isn't execute always an option. How many f'ing researches did I have to run all the way back through because there were two bad options. This league was a step back from incursion mechanically - oh and you also managed to f@ck up incursion when you brought it back so that was another black mark.

The mastermind fight is buggy crap that after watching a video 10x you still can't tell why people died from an off screen attack.
