Betrayal Statistics

the fact that ONLY 1% OF THE PLAYERS got to 36 challenges tells me that challenges are a little bit too hard to achieve even tho they'r "CHALLENGES" don't you guys think?? this was my first league and I managed to get 26 challenges, I'm not an average player IMO since I like to study the game, do my research, learn about everything and not just log in and play, and I believe that's what made it possible for me to achieve 26 challenges but I know people that downloaded and tried to play just for fun, they are that percentage of players with 1 challenge completed.. that's kinda sad, I'd love to see more options, after reaching 26 challenges and knowing that I'm a new player, every time I looked into challenges I had the same thought "well.. it's done for this league for me.." some of them are waaay too hard, way too grindy, demands you having more than 2 characters.. one for delving deep, one for running labs NON-STOP almost for the entire league, one for boss killing, etc.. Just my opinion in this topic. Next league I told myself I'm going to do my best to try and reach 36 challenges, lets see... Thanks.

I'm done.
By far the most frustrating league i have played.... glad to see the end of it!!
Please give us some race :(
I read through the challenges on day one, and being someone who works a full time job (that isn't streaming POE) and has a fiancee who wants my attention at least some of the time, I knew I would never even get up to 24. I did think I would have more than 16 at this point though. I just don't have time to grind for the sake of grinding these days. I was forced to choose between grinding for currency or for challenges.

Honestly I have a hard time justifying any activity I choose to do after about level 85 anymore. I don't find the grind as fun as I had years ago. I had hoped that new mechanics would push me, but I earned more currency running level 60 safe houses than I have earned in any league ever before. That didn't really encourage me to get better at the game as some other leagues have.

I still love the game, I regret nothing about how I chose to spend time this league, but I honestly don't know if I want this to go core, at least not in the current state. I shudder at the thought of the syndicate appearing less frequently but still being required to learn recipes. However, I hate how time consuming it becomes trying to organize them. To me, it just doesn't slot in as easily as breach or bestiary did. It's such a disruption to typically play.

Tldr: I'm on the fence about this going core.

well... there is a lot to discuss ...

for start fact is that the mastermind is a)not worth the time
b)the syndicate reset is a bit harsh (could just lower 1 rank all members and maybe scuffle them)

On the other hand opposed to what many have said it was a good concept for a boss fight , a bit poorly executed tho . Most are used going in bosses one shooting them and so am i .This brings us to rewards, for example on uber elder even tho 99.9% the drops are shit (
) you still have a chance/hope for that illusive drop .Boss design is not easy and its easy to criticize from your couch .

The challenges were the easiest so far but the grindiest... This 400 atlas shit is ridiculous.

GGG needs to start focusing on a player base target group and set some priorities right . What i mean is , as mentioned above there are many players working , in my belief those do actually buy mtx and support the game meaning .... getting 36 is not for the shitty mtx you give as rewards but more like for personal "satisfaction" , get it? ..ye

gonna try keep it sort but there are more to analyse out of this post and replies i read so far like how the game should be revamped over the end game maps and the new additions to it but maybe another time .

The Mastermind's fight needs some rebalancing. The rarity of the fight is absurd! It's a bit pitiful to stand out, but I admit, I have fought Catarina only once.

I needed three weeks to grind her, then I waited another two weeks to run the safehouses and their leaders to get the challenge completion. Then I finally entered her lair and completely f*cked it up. My bad, of course. Although Dominating Blow seems to be at a slight disadvantage here (almost no opportunity to get minions as you have to dodge Catarina all the time).

Then I thought of grinding her again, but, no thanks, no 100% grind again (three weeks or so for me).

The point I want to make is that the fight is too rare. I'd gladly practice more but fighting her every 3-4 weeks (thus 4 times in total at the end of league) is not worth to be called practice.

The total reset of the lair, if failed, should be 10 percent or so, not 100! Considering the fact that the mastermind fights will be a far more rare occasion after this league. Fighting Catarina every 4-5 months in Standard? Hey, Aul, you appear more often than her!

PS: Playing only Red Tier Maps

Interesting stats! Now, I was hoping you could give us more statistics about which Syndicate Members killed more players and class breakdown. Class breakdown got killed by the Mastermind and killed the Mastermind.
Just goes to show that it's getting ridiculously hard for a normal player to get the mid or high tier rewards. And by normal, I mean those who put in anywhere from 3-8 hours a day towards playing the game.
Risk vs reward absolutely blows with this league. I learned that a month in and have been leaving the encounters on Laboratory and skipping them completely.
