Betrayal Statistics
I barely made myself do 24 this league. This was basically the most boring time i played Poe ever. It is the first time i actually fell asleep while playing a game ever, literally. I tried to delve the darkness to have some fun, but the cost was to buy scarab, make 100q+ map and join a rota which after few times felt like an abomination to what i want to do and how i want to spend my time. I have 1 hour a day to have fun, not going to waste it in 33% to pm other players to be basically allowed to play boring content that i have to complete to have fun.
About the stats. The back for 36 is just ugly so i did 24 for aura as i kinda like it, its not superb, but doesn't suck like most cosmetics you give for "challenges". If not for the aura you would lose my interest after few days. I killed mastermind twice cause i didn't get challenge credit for the first one (yeah a bug.. and what's funny i had the 2nd achievment done 2/5..but when you fixed the bug you didnt think about maybe writing a 2 line script (5 minute time for 1 guy) to give credit to those people who the bug hurt, very customer friendly). The 2nd one was area 82lvl which hurt a freaking lot for me as a pseudo "melee". I got 5c helmet and 1c flask for all that.. It was even worse in reward terms than a normal t10 boss, they have a chance to drop a t11-t12 map, its useful, its worth more and go figure they don't reset my atlas after i kill them. ..the whole board reset - its an abomination. To all those ggg lovers - "it is clear that if you kill the head of the syndicate the board should reset". Nah when i kill the head they all should stay dead, there is no immortal syndicate anymore, no one can be resurected so gg i won, end of story. "It doesn't work like that, you never actually kill anything in Poe"... really? Than why the flying f.. does it HAVE to reset the board? Why can't they stay like they were? There is absolutely no reason for that except "we want you to destroy the thing you were working on for weeks just because we want it". There is no quest for it, there is no end reward for fullfilling the task, normal farmable content - it should not have any sort of backlash or a huge reward for doing so. Compare this shyt to alva or elder and spot the difference. And for the challenges. I vote to rename it to grind&dedication, because they are now so far from what challenges are. From all 40 "challenges" only 3 of them have some indication of what a challenge is (encounters 1, encounters 3, mastermind 2) and due to the fact you can buy them from others they are not really challenges for you. Tell me how using a scarab in map device is a challenge - you don't even need to enter that map? Testing my patience in trading them? or my dedication of how much time i want to invest to basically have the rng god to smile on me and give me that guy in the right place to drop me a scarab? Is that what you call a challenge? I am not waiting for 3.6 to be completely honest. |

the reward of mastermind is verry Disappointing !the fight not worth it! make a headhunter ie part of the loot and you will see more players doing mastermind !!

I don't know what happened this league. You set a high bar after introducing the delve content but this leagues content is complete garbage.
1. The one bossfight this league is completely scuffed compared to any delve bosses last league. Mechanics, animations, rewards are all bad. 2. Quarry/acqueducts farming is still a thing and the most effective way to do league content and also one of the most effective ways to grind currency. Why does this happen every league? 3. Why is there STILL immunity in this game, when it completely scuffs the delve ladder? It should already have been patched when delve content/ladder was introduced. Dear GGG, I feel like you are reading your statistics wrong. I have over the years, since beta and on onwards been playing your game a lot. I have tried all of your content and I have farmed most of it, as if it was childsplay.
The Mastermind fight is not hard, its not rewarding, and its not fun. Its inconvenient, phased and tedious. Sadly... I have approximately 10k hours of play in PoE, but Betrayal league only had delve going for it. The delve bosses are really nicely made out, uberelder and shaper are nice fights too. Shape is kinda nullified due to powercreep. But it is what it is. Betrayal made reward scale with nothing. Spamming blood aqueducts so that we could afford Pure Breachstones (which was one of the worst implimentations to the game ever) and scarabs (which are awesome) How such an extensive league could make a great game be straight up boring and full of bullshit is beyond me. Who was attending and approving the DEV meetings going "Oooh my dudes, lets make our last boss a PHASE fest, and make it drop nothing cool, meh, maybe 1 or 2 items""Ey and btw. lets get everybody and their dead grandmother to lvl 100"...... How was that ever approved? It saddens me GGG. 10k hours of PoE fun, now I find my self playing other games and barely checking your forums for news and updates. It just rubbed me the wrong way, that you phrased "The most concerning result for us here is that Masterminds are run less often than we intended. Part of this will be the danger of the encounter, which becomes very clear when we look at the breakdown across various Betrayal league types" That is simply wrong stated. People who normally do the hard content simply didnt find the mastermind fight stimulating or rewarding. Plus, it ruined your Safehouse setup. The manipulaiton of the safehouses was simply not worth throwing out the window for a boss that is a waste of time. So back to blood aqueducts we go, get them breachstones and the sulphite scarab, so we can do them actual nice bosses and get the most bullshit level 100 in the history of poe :) Thanks for the game over the years though! League challenges were too long again, too much tedious RNG grind. The new content itself was amazing though. The challenges burned me out, likely won't be here for next league since it leaves me not enough time to recharge.

I wish their damage were a bit lower. Getting one shot by a betreyal coming from no where is not fun at all. Especially when you one shot the content ur in, but when it comes to betrayals, they hit like trucks like u were doing T15 maps...

The syndicate reset is what seals the deal for most people for sure.
Also people get headaches from this drawn-out chaotic fight and rather not do it again. The only exceptions are the sadomasochistic 'challenge' hunters. |

I'm just gonna parrot points that I agree with, as they were explained in great detail already.
-Mastermind kill resetting board with no warning is bad and should be removed/revised. -Mastermind kill rewards are nothing. -Exp penalty on softcore death should be proportional to exp gain or removed outright. -Most of the challenges are not real challenges, just gear/patience checks. I bought roughly 40% of the challenges just for the cloak and don't feel ashamed. -One-shot meta should go away. Either you one-shotting enemies or them one-shotting you is not fun. -Syndicate members should be scaled to the map level they appear in. Being two tiers stronger than map boss isn't fair or logical. -Let us run unlocked undmodded map on atlas whenever we like without actual map item. Make map item required only for modded runs. Except for guardians and uber bosses maybe. -Remove dailies as a concept. Dailies are cancer killing video games and belong to mobile trash. -Add option to remove/reduce particle effects, because whenever I'm not soloing I just can't see the game behind all those anime effects. - Investigation board needs to be reworked but it is a nice thing to have.
- Mastermind fight resetting the investigation board should be expected. The problem here is the grind to get to the fight that needs a rework. - Talking about reward do we speak of map bosses rewards in general and the non garanted map drop ? - I have nothing to say about experience penalty, it is fine to have a loss when we make a mistake. - "One shot" meta ... One shots are a part of all ARPG's since Diablo 1. The meta is a concept to cheese the game, and that is the real problem. - Mob scalling is a potential problem as like in other games, you don't really know how they are scaled. Syndicate members are the most powerfull beings i have ever encountered in level 75 maps, and still i 've been killed by Queen Atziri. It really is a matter of knowlege. - Unlocked unmodded maps : Don't know if i would like it or not. I would prefer a garanted loot of same tier from boss, and Atlas completion do its job for a second and third roll of maps T+1 / T+2. - Dailies : I don't really have a problem with dailies, but they should be tied to what maps you have to run, not having one spawning on a T11 map that you don't have because you are running T7 maps. Again, this is one more time tied to how the Atlas works and what should be reworked with that system. - Partiicles : I really like PoE's cosmetics, but the point here is justified. Playing solo : no problem but in groups, we should have the option to turn off other members particle effects for better reading of what is happening. Path of Exile is a Casino for gambling addicts.
