if by "intended" you mean "people who don't care about it and just have to do it to reveal more crafting mods" - well done. it works perfecly.

the best strategy is to farm low-level berayal and then do breach stone runs exclusively. in terms of "risk - reward" that is a "minimal risk - overwhelming reward" scenario. pretty bad game design.

if it weren't for delve still being available, I'd say this is the worst league so far.

I wish betrayal and bestiary content would be completely removed from the game.

The 24 and 36 blipp tells you otherwise. Most players is the wrong metric as "most players" don't even finish the game and the data as far as I see is just anyone with more than one challenge which you get very fast.

Now you're arguing from a subjective PoV which really doesn't help anyone nor give you a leg to stand on. You don't like the free MtX but others do, you can't just decide what peoples opinion on the matter is based of these stats. Like I said earlier in the thread, a large number of these player might just not care about challenges regardless of the rewards.

The main reason I didn't run Mastermind was because my board would reset if I did, and the rewards for Mastermind just don't outweigh the work I have to put in to get my board the way I want it to be again.

The fight is also very messy. Just having to pay attention to the direction the totem is firing makes it incredibly difficult to concentrate on ANY other mechanic. It goes in a clear direction but it's way too fast in the later stages. Visibility is another problem, the first time I did the fight I didn't even see the volatile skeletons even after they had killed me twice, then I looked up a guide for the fight because I was just dying to 'nothing'. Maybe it's just practice, but I feel like there is just 1 mechanic too many in the fight. Imo the totem should be changed and the Volatile skeleton spawners need a bigger hitbox to disable them quicker before they can spawn

People forget that Leagues are BETA tests for core content. There will be kinks and bugs, and only the most dedicated players will get the rewards. They're challenges after all, not 'login rewards'. Alls im saying is, if I can get 36 challenges, anyone can get 36 challenges lol

The problem right now with challenges is that people want the rewards, but aren't interested in completing the challenges which leads to frustration since you're incentivised to engage in content you aren't interested in because of rewards you desire. Many other games make this mistake, special skins in league of legends, free loot boxes in Overwatch etc.

The challenges are so grindy and the prizes so lackluster I found myself not really wanting to bother with them this league. Since, I'm not playing challenges, I really haven't been playing the game much at all. I don't want to spend so much time grinding, I like the game play, I don't want to feel like I have to play 8 hours a day.

This is not true at all i have been runing over 200 masterminds to help people and everything is clearly predictable,

First you kill one leader, then she goes into the corner in which you killed the leader.

Second blackflame phase from sculpture ALWAYS go down-left-up-right in this order just run around, you can also stand in leaders little corner to be safe from sculpture.

Third she ALWAYS says a sentence like 2 seconds doing any attacks. Every attacks has its own sentence so you can know which attack she is gonna do before she does it.

Just got to know the fight ! I have over 90% success rate for 5 challenges at once in over 200 mastermind and ive died only 3 times in all those fights.
I wanted to go this league for 40/40 challanges, but 400 atlas objectives way too hard to do...

Any master mission should count towards this
