Betrayal Statistics

It's been said earlier in a more passive aggressive way but the core of the problem with mastermind is the reward. Wiping the board is just too punishing, even if you'd change the rewards to be as if all lieutenant were rank three it's still too punishing to wipe the board.

Another thing that's been bothering me all league is the lack of the third option. An option that lets us "finish" the encounter without picking anything. It's not super important outside of research where you would need it for the portal out but it's one of those things that's needed to get a sens of completion. Call it a mercy option or what ever, I just want to feel like I've made my choice rather than just walk away because either option sucks for my goal.

Also, for the board. Can we have it not be full-screen and have a close button. The nuisance of having to use esc every time some straggler monster creeps in, without you seeing it due to the full-screen, is infuriating to say the least. Just let me click just outside the edge to start walking away to attack what ever is trying to kill me.

once again , u hit near the target ,GGG...
the reason why mastermind safehouse is so less runned is only because it takes more than a day of normal playing (2/3h a day) to get it ....!!!!!
imho , i don't wanna farm low lvl area with a 95+ lvl character...only end game areas interest me.

So 98.92% of players who started this league said "Fuck that I have better things to do with my time". The challenge system needs a rework.

Also Betrayal had that classic PoE swimming in syrup feel.

Lastly, please make a better way to buy maps (or items in general). Spending 2/3 of my playtime in a browser window spamming afk people is not fun. God damn, it is a trading game with no (real) trading system...

No it doesn't. 98% of those 98.92% might simply not be interested in grinding challenges. Your making an assumption what the numbers mean based on your own bias.

The challenges do need some rework. It was never meant for everyone, as only a select group went for them, however if one wants to encourage more and more people, something different has to be offered.

This was my 1st full League experience in this game. Coming from the likes of Season 7-13 in Diablo, I put in many many hours into getting geared up for end-game content. This league I have also put in a good share of hourly playtime to get to end-game. The experience I've had thus far in this league is a fairly decent one and for the most part I enjoyed playing, however, not to be a negative Nancy or anything, in all fairness and honesty, The Mastermind fight mechanics left a searing impression in my mind that this fight was not only a headache to complete for my melee Juggernaut on the second go-around after beating her early game (which melee is my preferable playstyle), but seriously the chaos of what seemed her unlimited spawning of those 1 shot tracking skeleton heads, the invisible degen areas insta-killing you as soon as you come back into the room (not the degen areas in the corners by the way), and the challenge objectives that really are a pipe dream for my class/build, not to mention the fact that all the work on your syndicate board gets wiped out for what? A Flask with a mod?

Naw man, keep that shit, Not worth losing countless 10% exp on my lvling bar each time I die to that bullshit I can't see on the ground killing me, in addition to the crap mechanics of the fight itself. Now a good starting point incentive-wise for the fight would be to keep the structure of the syndicate the way it is and you can even -10% each of the safehouse progress because of the fact that their info led us to Catarina in the 1st place and she's pissed to take out her revenge on them in that manner upon death instead of making them all go to 0% but who am I to say that is how it should be?

I'm just a newbie to the game that sees so much potential and enjoys many of the aspects of it, but hopes for it all to be more polished is all. I know one thing is for sure, and I am old school gamer from back in the Asteroid Arcade days before Atari was a thing: If I start seeing neglect on things that need to be fixed for too long, I'll just leave along with my supporting contributions. I don't take it kindly by a company who is propped up with success through the feedback and other support they get from their playerbase just to eventually get S*i% on because the developers lose touch with the game and the people that love the content they created (Just ask Blizzard). I gotta give it to ya GGG, with a little more interactiveness with communication both upwards and downwards this game can be truly a great one of all time. The lore needs to be more integrated though, and I'm still trying to find out what "Celeran" means in whatever language Jun uses when she is probably saying "Be well" or "Goodbye" ( I say "Celery" back at her btw everytime :P)

Seriously though, I've played the game the best I can as a melee, and I feel like Conan The Scrubarian compared to some of these super-fast T15+ insta-killing caster builds!

Delve is a fun break from mapping/syndicate for me, but Sulphate is too scarce encounter-wise other than daily spawns, not to mention node counts of 1 can really piss in your morning wheaties breakfast when you been grinding many maps already hoping for something other than Alva, Einhar, or Zana to spawn.

Well, my feedback is done now. Probably won't get read by you guys, but hey, just stopped by to give my feedback on my experience in the game. Overall, I'm satisfied with the experience but not overly-joyous that I know it could've been much better with a better trading system and less than desireable Mastermind encounter that put doo doo in your mouth after losing 60% on exp bar, 6 portals, and ALL work done on syndicate to some boss on Steroids and 3290572039 tracking minions and invisible ground degen areas besides the 4 corners with totems that 1 shot you. Here's to hope and a better experience!

The MM fight is too complicated and it takes too long to set it up. I have only once done the MM fight and I play an average time as a casual.

It´s quite funny, that the super rare architect was more common in Delve, than MM is right now. You should balance the fight better, make it more accessible and it will be run more often.

The board wipe is great, I love that as it gives us a new environment to play with.


As the challenges go, in my opinion they don´t make any sense at all. We can not gain anything significant there. Why not give a free standard stash tab for 24 or 12? This would be enough motivation for everyone to run it, while yet another portal, foot prints or whatever isn´t.
