I think the RMAH is a genius move by Blizzard. I may not like it, but it is a real way to continually make heaps of money on the game, while not actually have to DO anything. The only overhead is maintaining the RMAH itself, which should definitely be worth it for the company. Say what you will about Blizzard / Activision or whatever, they know how to make money off their products.

Haha diablo III is actually having an open beta weekend. I wonder where they got that idea from. It wasn't announced (in my knowledge at least) until the plagiarism of Charan's post.

Having said that, I will try the beta of a game I don't plan to buy, simply because it's free and runs on mac without using wine. It's a very logical move, it builds even more hype for the game right before release.
