It's rather the butthurt D3 fanboys since i dont see any people bragging about PoE on the Blizzard forums, where you can see 13 year olds complaining about just everything.

It's pretty obvious the d3 players are just coming here to troll and express their butthurt-ness over our awesome game x(

I'm not trying to troll or anything, i just fucking hate when people come here and brag about D3 when it's just plain bad in my opinion. You dont have to share mine, but i also don't have to share yours.

This forum is open for any discussions, that also means that people will most likely express their negative opinions. A negative opinion does not include invading other game's forums and rant about it. Got me? Awesome.

Actually, the OP is still reeling from behind textually violated/plagiarised/impersonated on the D3 board and is very reluctant to behave in his usual grandiloquent mode for fear of it happening again.

P4N1K: I never did learn what ITT means, but my instincts tell me that's not particularly accurate a summation. OH SHIT you're Sanic Hedgehog. You told me to go back to Reddit in chat once, because I was behaving congenially and amenably. Fuck you, dude ^_^. If you want to 'troll global', be aware that there'll always be someone like me to shove you back under your bridge for the sake of the newbies who are trying to *avoid* the trolls found elsewhere. Why shouldn't path of exile be that haven? :)

aitalar: Please try to act like someone whom newcomers would not be afraid to meet in-game. This is a public forum and plenty of prospective PoE-players are going to read posts just like this. We are, in our way, all ambassadors and representatives of Path of Exile. Just a request from someone who has watched this thread survive all manner of behaviour.

ITT = Its time to. It's usually used to describe the topic of a thread. I was using it sarcastically here because things have snowballed into (yet another) D3 vs PoE thread.

I'm usually helpful and informative to new players, I regularly give starting gems and gear to newphies and lower lvls. "Sanic Hegehog" is the name btw. I'm often very sarcastic and i honestly read both reddit and 4chan a lot. i don't really "troll" global, I tend to weed out annoyances and other trolls. Its hard not to get some Lulz from a global chat though, i must admit.

I may be mistaken but I think I've seen you behave a bit differently on Nigel. Probably just some weird alignment of the stars and/or time of the day. Noted on the name correction.

I understand the balance between 'trolling' and helping newbies. And I think the majority of trolling, at least in a game like this and a chat like that, comes from a frustration towards newbies who, for whatever reason, just don't get it.

I guess it's my personal way of defining 'noob' rather than 'newbie'. A 'noob' to me has a real attitude problem, tends to be a bit stupid, asks first, doesn't think later. A 'newbie' is just something we all were, and should never forget being.

I normally play quite late at night, so you might not have seen me being "nice" to people. Nigel's my main btw, and he does like to have a SMASHING good time every once in awhile.

O.o I make that distinction too!

I do agree "noob" has a very negative feel to it. Like someone will PK you (UO example here) and then laugh at you and call you a "noob" Whereas being a newbie I think of as a slang short form for a new player who isn't yet familiar with the game.
