I guess I missed the pissing contest.
But that's what happen when some people who like D3 read stuff like "D3 sucks, it's for noobs". Of course, this thing shouldn't have left this forum, where PoE fan can parade around that. PoE forums ignore list script:

There are always pearls to be found in the mud, even on websites full of trolls and forum warriors. And there's no reason people shouldn't try all games of a genre they enjoy.
Both PoE and D3 have their flaws, and their goodsides. No game will ever appeal to everybody, the same way one person likes Ford and the other swares by Toyota. Neither brand is bad, same with D3 and POE. Try em all and play what is fun. Either way, you can't base your opinion on speculation, you have to dip your feet in the water before you can take a swim. |

I'm in the same boat as you buddy. Anticipating D3 for so long, and they killed it. Its like what they did to the Call of Duty series all over again.

Glad to see that Path of Exile is providing something for which you've been waiting or searching, Rales.
I just want to add briefly for all the readers of this thread: there's just been a quick test of what is known as 'cut throat' league, in which you can invade other people's instances and death results in *all* your gear being dropped, including inventory(minus equipped gems). There's still some work to be done but for someone who doesn't often play in parties and loathes most PvP, I had an absolute blast. This game has once again proven itself to me. My god.
