just think about it, every piece of armor that i will have, and every skill in all my chars to look like as it supposed to look (unique or rare at least), in the other games will look unique and rare, in PoE i have to pay to be like that, to have different colours and visuals. if you make the maths you will pay more to PoE.
That's a lot of assumption without seeing the price of a single cosmetic character alteration in the shop.

now you forgot to mention level cap and the Inferno that you can play actualy after the level cap, the Nephalem buff of Magic Find, the Health Globes, the new way to customize your attributes with gems, the leveling of the blacksmith, the new uses of the gold.
All the above are big progression for Diablo.
Inferno is nothing new anymore, they made it like a normal 4th difficulty where it's easier on beginning and later harder.Health globes are new, but not function good because they drop randomly, and you are tide to much to luck. You cant plan use of them.
Customization with gems is not a improvment. They removed customization from your character to items only. That's not improvement, it's a change that some people don't like.
Nephalem buff of Magic Find is trying to fix a broken system that allows you to swap skill when ever you want.
The only things that I agree here is blacksmith.

True, there's a lot of assuming going on here.
But other micro transaction games have tought us that you end up spending a lot more money on those than you would have on a retail game. For example, I believe I've already spent about 120 euros on League of legends even though it's technically a free game.
However, the items sold in LoL are items obtainable and usable through the game itself, so that ofcourse gives them more of a 'I want it now' feel.
As you said it really depends on the type of system they put together, how many items require cosmetic purchases to show their 'true form' and stuff like that.
Ultimately I do think that the people who end up paying for cosmetic items will ultimately pay a lot of money on the game, just like it works with other micro transaction games.
Also about the price.
At the end of the day micro transactions are their sole income for the retail version of the game, so making the assumption that the prices won't be cheap is not a weird idea.

Actually inferno has become even harder than it was before.
All monsters in inferno used to be lvl 61 from act 1 to act 4.
Now, however, the monster level starts at 61 in act 1 and goes up to lvl 65 in act 4.
The difficulty is the same in act 1, but gets increasingly even more difficult as you progress through inferno.
EDIT: The real point I actually want to make here, which I kind of forgot, is that inferno is harder than hell was in diablo 2. In hell the monsters capped at a certain level, but the player could get over that level.
In diablo 3 the max player level is 60.
While monsters in inferno range from lvl 61 to 65.
Also, yeah health globes are random, but the drop percentage is high. They also aren't supposed to be used as strategic assets per se, but more as things that keep the flow of the game going and stop you from having to use a potion after every fight.
EDIT: The gem system does evolve things.
The attribute system just made you put points into str and dex for gear, and pump the rest in vitality.
Now you actually have the freedom to choose whether you want more offense, more defense etc.
The nephalem valor buff is a way to:
1. Incentivise you to stick to a build throughout your runthrough, instead of switching to a different build so you can beat a particular boss easier.
2. Incentivise you to explore whole acts instead of just killing a single boss or 1 particular pack like people did in Diablo 2. Now it's uneffective to just rush to the boss, but the feeling of reward for slaying a boss is kept intact.

The opposite could also be true: they could offer low prices so more players could afford them.

Well yes. But that depends on how they sell things.
We actually can't really say anything until we know how they split up gear and things like that.
It also depends on their assesment of how many people they think will actually buy items from the cash shop.
But yeah, we should wait and see before getting dragged into making more assumptions. :P

About inferno, they said the beginning of inferno will be easy now than before, but the end will be harder. It's totally same as another difficulty, and is not anymore the thing they wonted to have at end game. So what is the purpose of 4 difficulty now? If it's totally same as any difficulty, why didn't they swap it for hell, and balance the game for 3 difficulties. I hate in PoE to have 4 difficulties, it just artificially way to increase the game.

Well actually, like I've edited in my post, inferno is harder than hell was in diablo 2.
They want to keep hell in tact, and add on inferno for the people that really want to commit to diablo 3.
If you're very casual you might find inferno too hard,
so you can stick to hell. In diablo 2 you didn't really have a choice, because all the good loot was in diablo 2's hell (the highest difficulty), but now you can stay in diablo 3's hell (second highest difficulty) if you want to.

Dont understand, good loot will also be only in inferno, the same as it was before in hell. There is no difference.

are you serious?
Inferno is a new difficult level that you cant gaint a lvl, best drops will be in Inferno and the mobs will have some new abilities only seen there.
Health globes gives the combat a bit of strategy and stops the players to leave in a middle of a battle to go to to town andbuy potions, plus they are some health potions drops.
Attributes customization in D3 makes you making choices, in D2 vitality was the only way.
Nephalem Buff is enchancing the team play and to give you a better chance to get the most rare drops.
this isnt my way of seeing things, this is how things are in D3.
