Don't feel like playing anymore.

Well, let's just say that i leveled as a selffounder and as a summoner from level 1 and for the act 4 bosses i just used Flame Totem, no minions died in the process... because they weren't even summoned :D

ps. liferegen is awesome when there are a lot of things hitting you.
d:-D*
I've heard that there are many ways to beat the game. My point is that it doesn't feel like playing anymore.

Almost everyone? Sure.

GGG knows the numbers there. I'd bet "almost everyone" gave up in or before act IV normal and never played again.

I think it's safe to say a lot of people completed act 4 normal in the new leagues, and since there is close to no gear to trade during the first hours of a new ladder, it's quite reasonable to assume it was made with gear all these guys (including me) found. I don't say it's anywhere close to a mathematical proof, but it's not because we don't have accurate data that all of sudden all the other possibilites become equal.

I feel like an anomaly here. I've always been a just-average player, with a lv 84 flicker strike build (Anarchy) being my best, highest level character. I've always gotten bored with my characters by around lv 80, then I feel compelled to re-roll and try something else.

Now that the content is harder than it ever has been before (imo at least), I'm enjoying the game more than ever. I finally have a lv 89, slowly working my way to (hopefully) 95. I've been playing the same character since 2.0 launched and have no desire to re-roll anytime soon. I feel out of place with all the people wanting to leave the game :\

Anyways, take a break Shags, hopefully things improve in a way that you enjoy and come back to it.
I quit playing 2 weeks into the new leagues. Won't play again for a while

GGG's design philosophy in three words:
Quantity over Quality.
Traders need to realize that their game is completely different from mine. Utterly different. Your experience isn't going to reflect mine, and I don't expect you to be able to understand why I feel the way I do.
Traders will never understand your style of gameplay. I do and like you, I am hanging it up. I may be back, but currently I find no joy in playing anymore. That alone means its time to move on.

Still feel free to stop by MonstaMunch's fan site. Its a very small community and you are very welcome there.

^I understand his position as-well (since i played solo self-found for a year and a half) but i still think Reboticon made an excellent point though.

The current game might be designed around utilizing the implementation of masters at all levels.(it should be right? Else why add them to begin with)

Cheeze will be cheeze that's for sure though, but that doesn't imply you can't go the "hard-route" and attempt something out of the box.

The threshold for "out of the box" builds has been severely upped sadly. One of the points i agree with as a negative of "the awakening" release.

I should visit MM's site soonish again :).

Peace and have a wonderful day moderator :3!

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
Its about not enjoying the game. Pretty simple really. Sure there is plenty of great advice out there, but I have to figure it out on my own and I did last patch. This patch, nope. I really found getting through Act 4 tedious at best. (The arena was awesome though)

Like Shag, I am going away for awhile and maybe for good, but as it feels now, its not worth my time.

That's pretty obvious. But once again, I don't see what trading has to do with the topic of finishing act 4 normal, especially at release. So this is pretty much off-topic.
