I've actually plowed through the wall, overleveled to 50, and made it through normal. The fights at the end of Act IV normal should be far less punishing. Keep the "you're going to die... no matter what" stuff for cruel and merciless.

Now the stupid part... I have to play through three acts of Cruel until I get to a level 50 area, and then I have to grind again, in the same areas I had to grind Normal. Sigh. FIX THIS.

I've played four characters up to the Piety fight in Act IV and simply don't want to play anymore.

Please note that I'm not asking for a change. It's fine if you want your game this way. I'll likely play another character up to this point and quit again... just not right now.


The last piety fight is ridiculously over-the-top so I completely agree with you. If you think she's bad on normal: wait till you see her on merciless. It's as if the battle was designed by Satan so he could watch you die over and over. It's the most stupid fight in the game.

I literally can't even put my auras back up before I die again a lot of times. That's how insane it is. It usually leaves me asking myself why I'm subjecting myself to such torture.

The other boss fights are pretty well done. I especially like Daresso. But the Piety fight gets extremely low marks from me.

I actually have hope that some of these issues are included in the "level design improvements" mentioned in today's announcements. No idea since that could mean just about anything.

It's all about them stash tabs, boys. They are doing really well considering it's a free to play game. Also, no bashing because it's free to play, duh, what would you want from a free game.

Same here, since 2.0. I'm not enjoying the game. For keep the leveling, you need high level map, for drop high level, you need do hard map and on hard map you die.

I can"t do rotation with party, lot of fps drop with 2.0 with other players.

Game was fun and addictive, is just annoying now....

And for other player on forum who said game is fine, try to make a 90+ character before tell the game is fine.

Because leveled a 80+ is easy, u can do that on map 74-75 and drop of them is easy, you dont need do hard map.

Finally someone who plays the game like it should be played.

I agree with you in that they designed the game not for the HC league.

To play "hardcore" (the league) is not a natural thing to do. It prevents you from learning by trial and error. Sometimes you need to die 20 times until you figuere out how to beat the boss or some other dangerous mechanic.

Play a softcore scout through the game until you figuered out all you need to know and then move to the HC league if you must. Thats a natural progression and should'nt interfere with your philosophy.

HC league, in my opinion, is for people only who know the game in and out.
