No big deal man. Been playing POE for three months now and this is the first time, ever, that I have been unable to play when I wanted to. Most games that happens within the first week.

Just over an hour of downtime is nothing, sincerely outstanding job on getting it up and running so quick and the post is just over the top awesome and not required. I love you GGG you all rock.

As there are now 17 pages of comments, I doubt you'll eve see this one, but...
Lord of the Rings Online, after 7 years and with what I have no doubt is a larger paid client-base, was down for nearly 3 day due to a weather-related power outage. While I realize you feel responsible, this winter has been unusually ...freaky... and there is a limit to how prepared you can afford to be. I really don't see how this was avoidable (unless the entire host facility didn't lose power). Perhaps I'm biased by the fact that I'm a weekend-only player and didn't suffer from the event, but I just can't see you going to a great deal of expense to overcome what is likely a once-in-a-decade problem. |
