Wow, nice info! +1

It takes a lot of courage and a lack of intruding ego to admit mistakes. I tip my hat to you, GGG. Thank you. You're an inspiration to budding game developers like myself.

You rock guys...thanks so much for the explanation. It's great to see a gaming company treat their customers like high-end business clients.
(aside: it's just interesting hearing the steps that are taken to get back up and running. 1 minute between server failure and notification to staff? amazing.) |

what happens to dead nemesis/hardcore players?

Wow is it ever refreshing to hear a company explain, and then take responsibility for downtime. This is why you will continue to have my support!

Excellent communication with the community, Jonathan!
Thank you for taking the time to let us know the situation, and thank you for owning up to any mistakes you might have made. I don't know the last time that I heard or read about a key company player admitting to a mistake. So refreshing. TY to those who called me out on my BS on these forums. There is no benefit to being so selfish as to fail to acknowledge others' differing beliefs of what "should be" or believe your own opinions so supreme as to be factual and thus dismiss others' opinions as being somehow a lie or delusional.
