Incident Report for Feb 7 Downtime
Will GGG prepare more sister locations in a raid design so even if 1 location fails there are other locations that can cover during the down time?

I have read all the posts in this thread, and everyone seems optimisitc. And so am I. I appreciate all the good works that you guys have done for us. 1 hour of downtime is no problem at all. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Thanks for truly being a class act, it hasn't gone unnoticed and it is much appreciated in a "take the money and run" world.

as someone who works in the power generation industry and has worked on many systems that supply backup power to data centers in case of power failure for many big and small companies around the USA....I hope this wasn't our fault. ;)
Seriously though we build in many redundant systems to prevent this exact thing from happening. I would give an educated guess and say either it was operator error on site or a catastrophic failure occurred during a power outage preventing power from getting to the servers( a stuck breaker, a rat chewed through some wires who knows) I do know one thing when loads get dropped like that someone usually gets fired or sued because that is a huuuuuge deal.
