" If you don't play self found,how can you pass judgement on what's possible gear wise self found.It's entirely possible to be 30 to 40 levels behind on gear and I've given proof.I can start a new character tonight and guarantee his gear and stash tab will look very similar at that level. I wanna make it clear I didn't vote for SFL and I don't want orb drop rate increased. Why I'm posting at all is because of players proclaiming themselves self finders and trying to dictate what's viable,possible/probable and what's balanced.While all the time running trades,eccepting handouts,twinking alts through stash sharing (even guild stash)and mindlessly farming up to plus 6(maybe more)content trivializing it beyond boredom . That's right,you don't play self found,your trading and as such the orbs you have and any related gear linked to them is also not self found. Yes we all start fresh in a new league and yes 65 to 70 is positively doable self found,there's no elite secret on how to do it.But then again,you started trading at that level. I have no problem with rarity,but again as a self found solo,rarity is a luxury.You just don't roll or find what you want on gear,you take what your given and make do. I admit I was really hooked up by PoE, that is, until I arrived at level 80... from this point on the best way to proceed is play the market or go to 3rd parties and buy stuff.
And that's exactly the reason why I left D3. I (and all the people who voted for a SFL) understand that there's people who like the market game, that feel like trading is a fundamental aspect of playing... but we don't. We despise that part of the game. I damn well know that, if instead of playing, I spam the trade chat to buy low and sell high I'll end up with enough currency to buy the endgame, but I don't want that! I have very limited time at my disposal and when I play I want to unwind, I don't want to work as a stock brocker! That's what the SFL is about: a game to play and not to work. A game where you can say: "oh, well, I'm being kind of unlucky but I just need to go on" and not "I'm just wasting my time, to proceed in the game I need to stop playing". |

No. And I'm not exagerating about upgrades, it's just my experience of the game : I never have a hard time to get gear good enough to progress smoothly until end-game. After that, yes I'm trading, playing in parties, how heretic in a game made by devs who want it to be multiplayer and encourage trading. But my situation proves nothing about self found during leveling, as it's only me, just as your gear proves nothing too. Just as the small sample of this poll proves nothing. But there is absolutely nothing in your shop that is self found because you traded.Sure you self found with the items you bought for the character to farm with ? lol maybe define your version of end game. I'm seriously doubting you progress smoothly until *end game* (will need definition of end game)on self finds/gambling alone.Your RNG must be absolutely godlike. You've managed to cap resists,find the gear you need and have the sockets/links/colors all prepped for the skill/support gems you've chosen that you had to RNG to find (unless of coarse you only using the standard reward set gems),while miraculously rolling a metric shitonne of health on said items (with leech) and magically finding the flasks that guarantee a safety net to status effects your gonna come up against and to top it off you've successfully upgraded your weapons damage to actually keep kill speed acceptable. All that while juggling your passive tree to hide chinks in the build while getting to end game. That's an impressive feat sir.Vaal onwards must have been a breeze. Or is there some stashed gear possibly waiting for these characters ? maybe Interesting character roster (8 standard ,1 HC,1 nemesis) and guild your in btw,even dabbles in cross league trades. Just give it up,your no more self found than anyone else on the trade wagon buddy I post a visual proof of self found items on a self found character,and you post boast of items that can do it. " My standard characters are mostly dead characters from HC/Onslaught/Nemesis, because yes, when you go around level 90 and not staying around the 30's, you might actually die to something. I seriously want to know what your obsession is with this thread Morgoth? What does it matter to you what people ask for on the forums?
The people who are serious about this league know that GGG would not make it an easier game, the point is it would be a game that you play 2 win, and not trade 2 win. I never said this game isn't playable self found but its obviously a game built for trading so I see nothing wrong with people asking for this league. Why do you care so much what other people want?
