RIP Clarity.
Not sure about CI nerf. It will be impossible to do blood magic maps AND chaos damage maps (I don't think that new keystone is a good solution, at least in hardcore), but any other build without CI will be able to do both type of maps. RIP Chaos Inoculation, I guess. |

It is difficult to say if your endgame build will be effected or not. With 9 acts, instead of 8, with an expected increase in your level once you hit the Eternal lab, and also the possibility of more skill point reward bonuses. But I can see this effecting my build progression though. Will have to adapt and play carefully.
POE is a constantly evolving game, so expect balance changes, buffs and nerfs STILL!

R.I.P CI If this changes are really going to be like this in OB i dont see any point in playing witch anymore, cant sustain enough mana for a propper dps with spells cant sustain any survivbility vs chaos mobs, viper strike mobs, chaos dmg maps etc. Loosing a ton of skillpoints for that extra split up max ES behind CI. CI now makes you loose all your Life just to be able to not insta die at chaos damage mobs, no instead you get 100% of that chaos dmg down ur ES which will also loose that 50% modifier that you had before and split up to 5 horrible 6% max ES licenses... Reminding you of that 6 second CD ES has when it gets damaged before it regens up, reminding you of that you are not able to use pots that heal ur ES, reminding you that a single stack of viper strike can basicly make you unable to fight for a good amount of time, reminding you that your ES does not regenerate like Life without this "new" license that is like on the other side of the screen where you have to invest a lot of skillpoint to even get there, reminding you of even with the affix: "Life regeneration instead applies to ES regeneration" you still have to get LIFE REGEN Nodes which you dont have as witch or shadow and even as templar you only got 1%. i dont know but if i compare all thoose nerfs and changes to a blood magic user i rly dont wanna play mana ES any more, i'll rather go hybrid witch Max LP and no CI its basicly dead if you ask me. And Clarity is like said before flushed downwards the toilet, lvl 20 clarity does lvl 12 effect now wich is a gigantic nerf for an already to the bones nerfed skill. Just going Blood Magic or Hybrid from now on, until some things change |

" Are you drunk? pardon me i have to sustain 120 mana per second on just a 4 link freezing pulse?! i have 36 mana per second without clarity i have 110 mana per second with clarity i have 120% increased mana regen from passive tree, i am using items, amuletts with up to 40% mana regen. i have 800 max mana pool. idk if you ever played a witch or youre just trolling here dude |

I hope there are some changes to Shadow hybrid defenses. What we have currently is still not good enough. And with CI being nerfed hybrid option needs to be better. Templar has a much bigger hybrid bonus for ES, Armor and life that needs less passives.

Remember, it's Chaos Innoculation, not Immunity. It's only a matter of time before CI is adjusted. Currently 80% of builds has that node as end-game, and it's energy shield gear over all else. The ladder is hoarded by witches, a pure intel class. Other classes are forced to branch upwards towards the witch zone.
All this imbalance just arising out of 1 single node. If that doesn't scream overpowered, I don't know what does. As for the Totem change, I'm not sure if that is the best way to go. Having the character do no damage means build variety takes a big hit. It's dual totems with Minions/Mines/Curses, or nothing. No dual totems with elemental spells. No dual totems with melee.
