The rich get richer, the poor get screwed
" If you are saying that you dont want to take part in the trade then your opinion indeed does not matter and its silly to post a QQ about economy, economy affect only people who do trade you see..... Saying "I'd rather not trade anyting thx" does not make the discussion go any further or did I missed something? |

" I disagree. I find that trying out a lot of different builds and leveling new characters is the most fun way to play this game. My highest level character is 86 and I find playing that character extremely monotonous and just boring in general if I don't take a break from playing him on a regular basis. My point being that it's very possible to try build ideas and such without being "rich", if one finds that kind of thing enjoyable, ofc. I'm currently sitting on 14ex only* and I'm not constantly trading or doing much of other wealth-increasing activities and I'm still enjoying the game a lot. Cheers! *By only I mean relative to the time I've spent playing PoE :3 Edit: " Yes, you missed to account for drops being adjusted because of this game using ladder-wide economies. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but you can't say that allowing everybody to trade with everybody while still wanting to keep the economy reasonably stable doesn't affect the self-found(or similar playstyles) players. Play a lot + be smart about it = get rich... There is no welfare in wraeclast. Anyway, wasting time on flipping items and playing like a maniac to get rich is not something I would call wise, but that's a choice.

I self found a soul taker, shavs, and voltaxic (sure i traded them cause i didnt want them at the time, but didn't flip them.
You don't HAVE TO flip, you are just one of "those" that complains about not getting any loot and refusing to make a mfer, or hell even get a little bit of mf on your gear. |

" Yes, you missed what was relevant in my post and jumped on what was less relevant, so you could call it...irrelevant. Let me repeat it. The currency sink fails to hit where it needs. The number one way of getting rich is to trade solely, completely, utterly. There are people who do this without a care for content. These are the most wealthy, these actually have a say in what the economy is. The currency sink doesn't touch their wealth. ^That is the relevant part. It's just adding insult to injury when the currency sink, a content gate, actually affects those who don't partake in the economy by gating content. ^That is the not so relevant part that you jumped on while ignoring the rest. As for the economy not affecting me because I don't partake... It does, immensely, because in an aRPG, supposedly hardcore aRPG, I have 2 options to access challenging content. 1) Be a shopper/shop keeper. 2) Faceroll MF lowball unlocked content for hours and hours for a tiny slice of challenge. ^I don't find either of these very fitting to the claim this game makes. Now, dwell on the less relevant if you want, but it is you who is dwelling on it. Or address the relevant part because it, them both, are real. Casually casual. What of it? The rich once was poor as well, I don't think anyone has found a Mirror or so the first day they play.

Smart players get rich.
Jealous players want what the other guy has so overpay for it, making themselves relatively poorer while simultaneously making the other guy relatively richer. Quit being jealous and you'll end this cycle of "injustice". Play for fun. Not for profit. And you'll be a happier person. Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>
