Remove MF completely from game
I support the idea of removing MF; for mostly the same reasons in the first post.

mf is great, please GGG, do not even think about introducing some crap like paragon in d3.
to all the guys who whine about how they cant wear the "best" gear because of mf...just start collecting a separate set of gear with mf on it. then you can adjust how much mf you want to run with at any time, which also makes things less repetetive. ign: ggtyfutoo

To reinforce my opposition to the "MF is mandatory" farce, my latest find playing solo and not speccing for MF.
Building OP damage and clearing maps in a quarter of the time is just as effective, and way more fun. [edit] Build stronger, and you can run harder maps for more reward. Last edited by Herpy_Derpleson#6025 on Jul 4, 2013, 3:35:57 AM

What if your already clearing the highest lvl maps that you can find with any mods on them (running full MF gear?).
I can't imagine how much faster one would have to clear those maps to make up for not having magic find gear on which makes rares/bosses drop 5-15 rares at once. Standard Forever

" ... We are talking about CURRENCY mostly and not uniques. does anybody complained about the unique droprate here? uniques are fine, the amount of rares and orbs are not. |

"Welcome back, Herps! I built my HC Mara as strong as possible, I could run absolutely any combination of affixes on 72-74 maps without any problems, including stacked monster and boss damage, ele damage and so on. I am sure, I could solo tons of map, but at my level 87 I ran out of maps. Your previous posts about only chisel/alch a map is correct, and this was what I was doing by myself. I ran out of maps entirely, I grinded 80% of my last (87) level grinding 67-68 maps exclusively. This is not fun at all. I suppose MF as mechanics just holds specs back and forces group play. P.s.: I would love to wear upgrades to my items that have MF affixes on them, as many people seem to suggest. I was not even seeing upgrades to my items (or anything at all so I could manage staying resist capped) to be able to consider at all. Progressing in this game requires Magic Find, and the worst of all you can't start from anywhere aside from having high Magic Find right from the beginning. This is what makes MF bad and redundant in my opinion. |

" Thread is about MF. MF is IIQ&IIR. IIR has what to do with currency? Increasing orb drop rates, and removing MF from the game are entirely different discussions. I'm saying I get plenty of IIQ from alc&go maps. Carefully rolling maps with alts/regals/chaos/etc will drain more currency than it supplies. It's burning all this currency that makes you think drop rates are too low. If you roll maps on the cheap, you can hoard currency rather than lose it. People get too stuck in the ways of others, and assume popular method to be the best, and only way to go. I think this is rubbish, and it's players methods that are at fault, rather than game mechanics. I still support diminishing returns, but strongly oppose MF removal. [edit] " Yo. " 'Endgame' is currently nonexistent. I am familiar with 'stopgap' though. |
